Two bedroom, two bath condominium in the beautiful oceanfront Lae Nani Resort on Kauai. This is a 2nd floor end unit, it has a large covered lanai perfect for outdoor dining, with unobstructed views of the ocean and Wailua Bay.

Lae Nani is a gated oceanfront condominium complex 7 miles north of the Lihue airport and 1/4 mile north of the mouth of the Wailua river, the largest river on Kauai.Centrally located for easy access to all parts of the island.

Lae Nani is beautifully landscaped with lush tropical vegetation and features a large ocean-front pool and patio, with Weber gas BBQs available for guests. There is an on-site coin-op laundry close to the unit.

Lae Nani is one of several ocean front condominium ucomplexes on Papaloa Road, which runs from the north side of the Wailua river to the Coconut Marketplace shopping center. Unique to Lae Nani, however, is a beautiful white sand beach, popular with locals, guests and tourists alike. Constructed many years ago on this beach, a keiki pond (a 3-sided black lava rock breakwater) creates a protected pool that is shallower, warmer and calmer than the surrounding ocean.

Our condo is newly updated with hardwood floors throughout the unit.

Our unit features a full kitchen with a 4 burner range, dishwasher and a full sized refrigerator. The master bedroom has a new king sized bed and a private attached bath. The 2nd bedroom has two new twin XL beds and attached bathroom. The Coconut Marketplace is an easy walk away and has many shops that cater to tourists. Kapa`a town is about a mile north of Lae Nani, with bicycle, snorkel and beach gear rental, grocery stores (Safeway and Foodland are about a mile away), drug stores, banks, restaurants and farmers markets. A new bike path begins in Kapa`a and winds north along the ocean for many miles.

Kauai is a small enough island that most visitors want to explore it all, from Waimea Canyon and Koke`e State Park on the western end of the island, to Hanalei town and the tropical lagoon at Ke`e beach to the north. Lae Nani is conveniently located about halfway between these two roads-end points. We think you'll love exploring the beaches, towns, rivers, falls, jungles and attractions Kauai has to offer, and returning each night to the beautiful and tranquil Lae Nani Resort.

When you arrive on Kauai and the cabin door opens, the first thing that hits you is the warm, humid floral scent in the air. Although you'll take it for granted and eventually stop noticing it, it's always there on Kauai. Once we get 'home' to Lae Nani, we settle into the routines that will define our days: getting together with friends and family, visiting new beaches, hiking new trails, biking the new bike path, walking to the shops and restaurants around us, shopping the farmers markets and eating the local food. Of course we have our favorite places and you'll discover yours as well after your first trip, but don't hesitate to ask us for specifics if it's your first visit - there's no lack of good things to do, see and eat on Kauai.

Best Location On he Island!!

My wife and I just returned from a week stay in this wonderful, Hawaiian chic, Lae Nani 2 bedroom beachfront condominium. This was our third time staying in this unit and we loved it more than ever! After many years of coming to Hawaii we have decided that Kauai is our favorite Island and Wailua is the best place to be on the island. We swam and snorkeled everyday in the Wailua Bay just seconds from the front door. Don’t take up space in your suitcase with beach towels or snorkel gear since Carol, the thoughtful owner, has supplied you with plenty of both.

It is an easy walk to Monico’s Taqueria for excellent Mexican food or Passion Bakery in the morning for macadamia nut sticky buns and coffee. We mostly cook in when we are on vacation and this kitchen is set up with everything you need to prepare and enjoy gourmet feasts. I like to grill and the Webers by the pool are top- of- the- line and always very clean! Can’t wait to come back in a year or 2 and rent this great place again!!

What a great slice of paradise!

We recently returned from a fabulous stay in this well appointed and fun beach condo. The 2 bedroom/2 bath floorplan worked great for two couples since each bedroom had a private bath en suite. The decor is relaxed and bright island casual which we loved. We had delicious meals of local fish and produce we prepared in the well appointed kitchen. The grounds, pool and beach at Lae Nani were beautiful. We found the location to be perfect and centrally located for exploring, hiking and shopping the whole island of Kauai. We can't wait to return!! Aloha!

Big condo with everything you need.

The posted pictures are exactly what you get but the condo seems bigger. Everything was clean, everything worked and the owner and staff at the complex were easy to work with. The laundromat is maybe 40 feet away. You can walk to a small (sort of dead) mall called coconut market place, a few resturants and cafes and lydgate park on coastal trail.

Beautiful condo and property

This condo at Lae Nani was wonderful for our family. The property and view are fantastic, loved looking out onto the green grass, palm trees and beach/ocean from the living room/patio. Very peaceful. Ice chest and boogie boards came in handy. It was very hot and humid when we were there, which I'm told is common for the summer, the portable fan did come in handy, but I did miss having air conditioning. It was a great time for our family to all be together, would love to return again (maybe when it's not so hot).

Good location And Affordable

This property was in a good location, it allowed for walking (which we prefer while on vacation) to dining establishments and to do some shopping, if required. The view was quite nice, even though the rain was trying to lessen it. Parts of the condo have been updated so those areas are nice, but there does need to be some updating in the bathrooms to make the whole of the condo a complete star property.

This property was excellent. It is on the second floor with a good view of the beach and ocean. The unit was very clean. There were fresh flowers there when arrived. We enjoyed a good cross breeze with there being windows at each end of the unit. They have a storage closet on the balcony that is nicely full of beach accessories. It had beach chairs, boogie boards, mask, fins, coolers and an umbrella. The kitchen had everything we needed. The decorations were Hawaiian nicely done. The beds were comfortable. I thought it was a good location, half north, half way south. The owner was very easy to work with. I would go back.
