An exclusive house that is isolated well enough for peace and comfort. The property streches over 100.000 m2 and is ideal for activities such as hunting, fishing, trekking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing and for other outdoor activities. Much more than that, the wider area, of the property provides a larger number of activities ( the vinicity of the national park plitvice and zagreb ), so you can plan in advance for every day of your stay if you want to. Whether you are an outgoing person or you rather enjoy quiet afternoon with your loved ones, the property has well enough content to satisfy the most choosey individual because the wider position of the property as well as the contents within the property can be tailored for everyone.
The property is directly on the korana river and the balcony has a fantastic view of the river and an waterfall. Blending a retro look with all necessary modern requirements the house in an ideal mix of two worlds. The house is unique since the used material consists of old oak, old bricks, old roofing pile and stone for lining. The house is built by the old oak of two smaller dismantled houses. A two-storey house that consists of the basement and two floors that covers 50m2 each was built with the latest modern isolation materials such as rockwool. A spring with clean drinking water is situated near the house and directly connected with its kitchen. A large 50m3 tank gathers rain water is also an option. A large area of the property is covered by a forest. There are 2 standing ( shooting ) points at this property which could be used by the guests. Heathing is provided in a form of wood. The living room has a large open fireplace and every room in the house has a stove and with the modern isolation the heath is optimally preserved.
The house has three floors each one covering 50 m2 (150 m2 in total). The balcony covers additional 40 m2. Each floor has its own bathroom or a shower. A family of six or seven is more than able to spend a night here and there is additional room for two more people. The balcony has two barbecues. The house is a mixture of the old and the new. One the one hand, the house was bulit out of 150 year old oak, and on the other it has rockwool as a modern mean of heating isolation. You can also enjoy the unique wooden work that accompanies the rustic furniture of the house. The living room has a lovley open fireplace and a stove can be found in every bedroom. Even if you are fond of parctical work and are handy with a tool, the house has a workshop and a woodshed to go with that.
There's four of us in the family. Miško (53) is an entrepreneur who's passionate about modern art, good wine and food. He is also a big Manchester United supporter. Sandra (46) is a psychologist. She loves to travel and to meet new people. She is captivated by other cultures and has an interest towards modern cooking. She prefers areas with warmer climates.
Margareta (15) goes to high school and she loves traveling to London. Her interest go beyond traveling since she is very communicative and has a large number of international friends via Facebook. Anton (11) goes to grade school and his biggest interests involve playing football for his local team (as a goalkeeper) and he has been to Italy, Austria, Slovenia, and Portugal with his football mates. He is also involved in synthesizer courses

The broader area of the property is very near Karlovac, Zagreb and the Plitvice national park. Buying groceries in the local market in Karlovac is possible, but a large number of fruit trees as well as the nearby river (fishing) reflect the giving nature of this rich land that was home to the local population for centuries. The spring with clean drinking water doesn't need introduction since water is becoming a rare resource in the world today. The house has a tank that collects fresh rain water as well. And you can always also harvest mushrooms such as the chantarelle or the boletus during the season. Firewood is provided from the property forest
