The Camuy Beach front villa promises astonishing views of the Atlantic Ocean. Here you will enjoy the panoramic vistas of the blue sparkling sea as well as have fun adventuring to attractions from this Caribbean villa haven.
Offering a full array of amenities, Camuy Beach front Villa can accommodate 6 guests on beds.
The Villa will offer you the house of your dreams: right in front of the beach!
After breakfast, go horseback riding or go to the Amador Point Beach or explore nearby adventures in the areas local island culture, including the markets, fishing, snorkeling, surfing, ice-skating, golfing and whale watching or visit the Arecibo Observatory and Light House, Tortuguero Lagoon Natural Reserve, (wetland, habitat and nesting for aquatic wildlife) and Rio Camuy Cave Park (underground water caves),
Cambalathe Forest (mountain biking, hiking and bird-watching.) You may too want to take an island ferry or a day trip by boat.
One of the best must see sightseeing trips is to Rio Camuy Cave Park. Directions are: from Arecibo, on the north shore, go southwest along Route 129 to the Park. The park is an incredible 268-acre site of the subterranean caverns which were carved out over one million years ago by the Camuy River. The impeccably maintained trails descend 200 feet through a fern filled ravine and down to the cathedral-like caverns.
The Rio Camuy Caves is a fascinating hidden underground world. One such unique species found there are fish that are totally blind. Rio Camuy Cave Park is the third-largest cave system in the world. Sixteen entrances have been explored with 11 kilometers (7 miles) of passages. is A special attraction is The Cueva Clara with a passage of 695 feet (210m) in length. At the park there are picnic areas, walking trails, food facilities, an exhibition hall and a souvenir shop. This a very interesting way to spend an entire day. This park is naturally very popular, so reservations are must. Open Wednesdays through Sundays and holidays; 8am to 4pm.
The Camuy territory is located on the Valley of Quebradillas. It borders the Atlantic Ocean and is north of Lares; east of Quebradillas and west of Hatillo. Its rivers are: the Cibao and the Camuy.
We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. If you are looking for beach front, this is the place to stay. Property was clean, maintained and the owner was very accommodating.
This is the second time we have rented this house and we just love it. The pictures don't even really show how amazing it is. The back deck is on the beach and it is so easy to go on and off the beach especially with small children there is an outdoor shower and a full outdoor bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need even a wine fridge. Also must try the acaii backyard down the street for the most delicious acai bowls and the bakery for fresh pastries and bread. Great stay again. We plan to come every year
Villa Tenerife is amazing. It was such a joy to wake up every morning and drink coffee in our PJs, watch the waves and feel the breeze. Because of the constant breeze, we noticed barely any mosquitoes! It was wonderful to cook dinner and eat outside on the patio with a gorgeous sunset. It was awesome.
We didn't have the budget to stay in a resort and weren't interested in a condo, so this was perfect. We are also very comfortable figuring out our own activities and wanted to be in a smaller town (as opposed to in San Juan or Arecibo).
We were here for two weeks with our two small children, who also spent hours with us on the patio playing with their toys or running down to the sand. True, you can't swim right in front of the house, but the swimming spot down the beach is barely a 5 minute walk, which was fine. There was also a spot just to the left where you could wade in a little, but not more than that with the kids.
There are other many fantastic beaches suitable for children barely a 1/2 hr away, so we did a bit of exploring (LOVED Punta Sardinera in Isabela which has a natural pool and a long shallow sandy entry perfect for little ones!)
The owners were extremely attentive to our needs and the couple minor maintenance issues were addressed immediately. Everything was just freshly painted right before we got there and all the sofa cushions seemed brand new. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and there were plenty of serving dishes and bowls and utensils.
The only drawback I can think of is a bit of occasional traffic noise (after all it is a beach road and some people like to pump their music loud), but the ACs provide nice white noise that block most of it, so we never had any issues sleeping. The manager responds best to texts, then by email, but was difficult to reach by phone.
We would rent Villa Tenerife again in a heartbeat and hope to be back. We adored our stay here, thank you so much!
We just returned from a perfect week at VIlla Tenerif. We were looking for a place to basically hide out on the beach for a week and this was it! Location was convenient for day trips to Rincon, Arecibo and Aguadilla. and plenty of restaurants and bars within ~5 miles.
House was fully stocked with everything we needed. Good Quality Dishes, towels, linens, Appliances (we gave the blender a work out). House is older and shows some ware from being SO CLOSE to the ocean, but the Owners take fantastic care of the property.
Sitting on the Beach and Patio were so relaxing, Palm trees on the beach offer the perfect amount of shade. Despite the public beach around the corner we probably only saw ~5 people walk past our beach area. Enjoy!
This was the perfect relaxing vacation for my boyfriend and myself! The house was perfect, exactly like the photos. We loved the views of the ocean and so close to the beach (although swimming was a bit further down the beach).
The area was not touristy at all (which we loved), but we found some great restaurants and bars, and since we had a kitchen we cooked a lot for ourselves.
Great location, nice accommodations, amazing views and highly relaxing!!
nice spot on beach needs some repair but aducute some road noise at night but all around nice stay close to caves a must seenot far from ponce or san juan good restuarants right down the road
