|Minimum Stay||2 - 5 nights|
This rustic, private retreat sits on two acres of private land, just minutes from downtown Breckenridge. The aforementioned river flows through the forest behind the house, making this home a calming, serene environment. Despite the rustic look of the exterior, just about everything in this home is brand-new as of December 2012. Located just a short 5 minute drive from Main Street, you'll have quick access to the slopes, shopping, or dining in Breckenridge. There's also a free shuttle on demand, to get you to the slopes!

I rented this house for a company retreat. I was worried if the house would meet our needs, but as it turns out, it was even better than I could have imagined. We had more than enough space for everyone. The location was perfect, it was private, and everything was beautiful and perfectly planned out. We used the living room for meetings and presentations by day and then it became the perfect hang out spot by night. It was so cozy! We had actually planned to go into town on several occasions during our stay, but only ended up going out once or twice because no one wanted to leave the house!!! We watched movies, made s’mores, played board games (all included with the house), and cooked delicious meals that we all enjoyed. I really can't say enough good things about this house. I am already ready to book it again for a family or couples getaway. I will always want to stay here when I visit Breckenridge or anywhere in the Colorado mountains. Positives were: location, house furnishings and layout, so much to do within the house, and convenience. Negatives were: daybeds are slightly uncomfortable, and the master bedroom is on the first floor so whoever is in that room might be kept up if people are still hanging out in the living room (maybe not though, as the master bedroom is HUGE and super tranquil). Loved it and can't want to stay here again!!
The house was beautiful and very close to Breckenridge. It was very comfortable for our large group of 10 people but with all the hardwood floors and open staircase, it was also very loud. When one person was up.....we were all up!
The kids loved the game room and the kitchen was great for cooking for the large group.
And the hottub was perfect on the cool nights after hiking or biking all day.
What an awesome place for a getaway!!! There were 14 of us in my group and there was more than enough room for everyone. And downtown Breckenridge is so close!
Now, I really really wanted to give this home a five star rating but the only problem I had was that we had a woodpecker issue that started at 5:30am both mornings we were there and it woke everyone up and he kept it up for the rest of the morning. It was quite the distraction from our getaway but we were able to laugh it off.
Other than that we had a fabulous time!
This home is fabulous. Spent a weekend with the girls, perfect, but was also thinking how great it would be for a multi family vacation. Close to town, yet far enough out that it is so quiet and relaxing. Home is beautifully decorated, clean, and homey. there is lots to do for the kids.. game room, hot tub, exploring outside in the woods, games.. Yet plenty of room if you just want some quiet time to read a book or watch a movie. Beds were sooo comfortable, and all new! I would recommend this place highly if you are looking for a vacation spot that is close to activity, but allows you to have some peaceful time too.
Some friends and I recently stayed at this property and it truly was a like a peaceful retreat in the woods! The scenery and serenity were spectacular - which was most enjoyed while sitting in the private hot tub. The home was extremely spacious and decorated so nicely. There were great common areas to watch movies, play games and socialize, and there were plenty of rooms to enjoy for some quiet time. The owners thought of everything and were very gracious. We will definitely go back!
This house is perfect for families, friends get away, romance. Updated and very clean. New furniture and flat screen TV's in every room. Wii and garage filled with kids activities. Nice hot tub and very private. You feel like no one else is within miles of this place as it backs to open forest. Nice heavy doors so you don't hear noise in the other rooms if you want to sleep. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a mountain get away with all the amenities.
