Directly On Sapphire Beach, Villa E308 offers Spectacular Views overlooking St.John and the British Virgin Islands. This spacious condo on two floors, both with balconies, provides comfort for a maximum of 6 guests. Both levels have comfortable sleeping space and full bathrooms. This Condo offers numerous Upgrades and Amenities including a Remodeled Kitchen, high quality King Mattress Set, foam Queen Sofa bed mattresses, two LCD, Flat-Screen TVs, Cable with Premium Channels, DVD Players with Movies, Play Stations 2 and 3 with Games, a Computer with windows 7, DSL Internet, Dedicated Router for Unlimited Wireless Internet, Cordless Telephones, iPod/ iPhone Dock, Snorkel Gear, Portable Chairs, Beach Chairs, Beach Towels, and more. The property has a Marina, White Sand Beach, 2 Coral Reefs, and an Oceanfront Pool. This Ideal East End Location is less than a mile from Red Hook with Shopping, Restaurants, Harbor and Ferry Service. This is a non-smoking unit. Required minimum age of responsible guest is 23.

Our Condo is on the third and fourth floors in E building at the quiet end of the Beach convenient to the Marina. From this location, so close to the water, you have an unobstructed, panoramic View of the Sapphire blue Ocean and Colorful, ever-changing Skies. St. John and the British Virgin Islands form the backdrop and provide dots of sparkling lights at night. The boats coming in and out of the marina are beautiful and calming.

With its two floors, our condo offers comfort and flexibility for couples or families. Both levels have Cable TV with DVD Movies and Play Station Games, full bathrooms, ample sleeping and living space plus balconies with tables and seating. The Remodeled Kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel Appliances, Cookware and Dinnerware. Food and Drinks can be enjoyed at the Indoor Table, at the Breakfast Bar, on the Balcony, or Poolside. For your Rest and Relaxation are a King size Bed upstairs (featuring a Therapedic Memory Foam Pillow Top Mattress) under a Cathedral Ceiling, and Queen size Sofa Beds (one on each level) with foam mattresses, memory foam toppers and hypo-allergenic covers. Quality linens add to their high Comfort level. Communication is made easy with a Computer, Wireless Internet with a dedicated Router, DSL line and cordless Telephones for local calls. A strong Security System is in place with personnel available 24 hours a day.

You will appreciate this Beautiful Beach and Convenient Location. Snorkeling is great fun at the Coral Reef in crystal clear water right out in front of E Building. Snorkel Gear for six, in two sizes, all adjustable, is provided and is stored in this unit. The Dive In on the beach has reopened and has water sports equipment available for rental. Sapphire Beach has two active Reefs, a large Swimming area and a cascading, bi-level Pool. A Poolside Bar and Grill is being constructed with plans to open in November, 2014. A food service on the beach offers Grilled Sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and early dinner plus a variety of frosty drinks. The Sapphire Bar & Grill, a full service restaurant and bar at Sapphire Village, is easily walkable from E Building. Adjacent Sapphire Beach Marina offers Boating, Diving, Sailing and Fishing trips to meet all purposes of visitors. A token operated Laundry facility is conveniently located beside the marina. Less than a mile away is the village of Red Hook where you will find most anything you may want or need including the Ferry service (pedestrian and auto) to St. John and the British Virgin Islands. Colorful downtown Charlotte Amalie, the capital city, is a 25-minute drive and offers duty-free shopping. From Charlotte Amalie, a 30-minute Seaplane ride will take you to historic St. Croix.

St. Thomas’ temperatures hover around a pleasant 80 degrees all year. You can adjust your indoor temperature with thermostats on both levels and Central Air Conditioning/ Heat. Ceiling fans and ocean breezes add to the comfort of island living. The island topography is hilly and absolutely gorgeous with lush tropical foliage and ocean views from almost everywhere. My husband and I fell in love with the ocean when we moved from Minnesota to Miami upon graduating from University. We now enjoy our life in North Carolina between the mountains and the beach. We first vacationed as a family in St. Thomas at the suggestion of our son, Eric, who is certified in deep sea diving, in the spring of 1999. It was so incredibly beautiful and enjoyable that we purchased a villa at the lovely Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina. I have since retired from teaching art and my husband has retired to Professor Emeritus status at Duke Medical Center here in Durham, NC. Eric now has a Healthcare Consultant business and is living in Atlanta, GA, enjoying direct flights to STT. Our other son, Sean, a manager at IBM in NC, has joined in this wonderful experience. We all make regular trips to Sapphire Beach together and with friends. Last year, we celebrated the holiday season and our anniversary there and watched the fireworks being set off at St. John on New Year's Eve from our balcony. It remains the best get-away ever!

St.Thomas is that rare place that we enjoy returning to again and again without ever running out of interesting and enjoyable things to do and see. Sapphire Beach is conveniently located for access to shopping, restaurants and other Islands. We have explored St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix, Tortola, Virgin Gorda plus the caves of Norman Island and love all of the Virgin Islands. We always are happy to return to the incredibly beautiful Sapphire Beach. It's a wonderful place to begin and end each day.

We love our penthouse condo in E building for its spectacular view, ocean breezes, and quiet, calming environment. This spacious, well-designed, two-story condo affords us flexibility and comfort. There is no one else above or below the bedroom. One can sleep or work upstairs while another watches TV or makes an early morning pot of coffee. Building E is convenient to the marina, laundry facility, pool, coral reef, and restaurant.

I wanted to personally thank Mary for allowing us to stay at her Sapphire Beach condo E 308! Beautiful location and lovely accommodations! The water is GORGEOUS!! Get out and see the entire beach lining this property....from end to end, and view to view, it is outstanding!

Mary was so patient with all of the inquiries I emailed prior to arrival and while we were there. Very attentive!

THANKS for the bottle of wine and note upon arrival! Very special greeting!
Great that we had a coffee maker and spices! Had all we needed to cook simple meals.
Nice lanai table/chairs!! Loved the time out there!
Plenty of towels, beach towels, snorkel gear, etc.!!
Mid-stay cleaning; fresh towels was great!
Purnell, the a/c repairman, came to work on the a/c quickly. Was very nice!!

Owner's Response: I do my best to set the stage but, in the end, the guests themselves make the most important difference between a good trip and a great vacation. I was concerned that 5 nights wouldn't be enough to appreciate St. Thomas but I was wrong. This family engaged in zip lining, the BOSS adventure, toured the island in a rental car and more. I hope they will be back to continue this adventure.

Beautiful Condo - Great Location!!

We stayed at Cheeseburger in Paridise from 7/1 - 7/8 and absolutely loved it. Mary was extremely attentive to our needs, responding promptly to questions in the weeks leading up to our trip and during our stay.

We are a family of 5 avid snorkelers with 3 boys ranging from 20 to 10. We have visited 12 islands in the Caribbean, and chose to return to Sapphire Beach for the incomparable off shore snorkeling. Sapphire Beach is unique in that you have amazing and diverse sea life just steps from your condo. We swam with sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, sting rays, squid, and a wide variety of fish on a daily basis.

Since we were with extended family who also stayed at Sapphire, we were able to compare our condo with two other units. Here are a few amenities that set this condo apart: beautiful, well stocked kitchen with granite countertops, land line for making local calls, free wifi and use of a lap top if you need it, high quality snorkeling masks and fins, a wide selection of movies and video games, safe, and keyless entry. It was so convenient to enter our own PIN to access the condo, instead of having to bring a key to the beach or pool. Building E gets a gentle breeze and has an amazing view of St. John. We were able to watch the fireworks on July 4th on St. John from our balcony. We were so enamored with our view from the condo, we took to ordering out from Duffy's or Fish Tales in nearby Red Hook, making our own rum cocktails, and eating on the balcony instead of going out to dinner. We did eat one dinner out at the Caribbean Fish Market, which was very nice.

Building E is right next to the marina. Huge tarpon feed every night around 6 pm off the dock - fun to watch. Fishing and snorkeling charters leave right from the marina which is so convenient. We did one excursion with Aqua Blue to Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Norman Island, The Caves, and The Indians. I highly recommend Aqua Blue. We also took the car barge over to St. John one day and visited Trunk Bay, Water Lemon Cay, and Coral Bay.

If you're looking for a relaxing, tropical vacation with gentle breezes, jaw dropping views and amazing snorkeling at your doorstep, look no further than Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Nothing compares to the snorkeling at the caves of Norman Island with their purple coralline algae and colorful fish. I, too, have found our balcony to be an excellent place from which to watch the fireworks set off at St. John and am glad that this family had that experience. Honeymoon Paradise

I rented this condo for my daughter and son-in-law for their wedding and honeymoon stay. Mary, the owner, was very informative and answered all my questions and even did some research for me with regard to some excursions the kids were interested in. She was truly a pleasure to work with!
Since my daughter was the one who stayed here, I asked her about her impression of this condo. They both thought they hit the jackpot when they first walked in! She had only very positive things to say ... plenty of pots/pans, spices, towels, snorkel equipment, etc. She also states the bed was extremely comfortable.
They also loved being on Sapphire beach. This location is very central for things to do - Red Hook, more beaches to visit close by, Coral World, and not too far from down town.
Mary also recommended a taxi driver by the name of Israel. I passed this information along to the kids and they used him exclusively. He took very good care of them and I can not thank him enough for this! I felt comfort in knowing they had someone they could trust to run them all over the island.
I can truly say I would rent from Mary again without any hesitation. Her place is a true gem!

A PERFECT ISLAND GETAWAY

My husband and I chose Cheeseburger in Paradise for our seventh trip to St Thomas, and is by far our favorite place to stay! In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much, we booked the condo for next May. The views are spectacular and every amenity you could possibly need was there waiting for us, including a bottle of wine and note from Mary. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony late afternoon, watching the sail boats pass by and the fishing boats return to the marina. We opened the curtains and fell asleep each night watching the twinkling lights of St John. The condo is clean, comfortable and well stocked with plush bath towels and bed linens. The small cooler, beach towels and snorkeling equipment made it easy to enjoy St Thomas beaches and exploring the surrounding islands. Although we did not dine in during our stay, the kitchen is well stocked with glasses, dishes, spices and utensils. Mary is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Another wonderful stay at Cheeseburger in Paradise

This was our 4th return trip to this condo which we stayed for 2 weeks as my retirement trip. I did not contemplate going anywhere else! She has put alot of attention into making this condo so comfortable that I had no worries being there for a longer stay. We did rent a car but there were days it didn't move since we cooked in the condo and had the beach a few feet away. I had everything I needed to cook good meals. The beach attendents were very nice and helpful with the chairs. We were also able to order food and drinks from the cabana delivered to us on the beach. The food truck at the entrance was very good! We enjoyed being able to go the marina and check with the excursion boats for availability - we did 2 "on the spot" trips (they need cash). Also did a planned dinner cruise with New Horizons out of the marina. The food, drinks, sunset, and moon were great!
We are hoping to return again!

Excellent Choice for an Enjoyable and Beneficial Vacation

My family and I love Sapphire Beach for the quiet, beautiful environment. I always return home with the benefits one hopes to gain from a vacation. The clutter of the demands of everyday living are cleared away and I feel refreshed.

This condo unit was particularly comfortable and enjoyable to live in. It has been extensively renovated and is furnished with all of the basics - kitchenware, plush towels, comfortable beds, good TVs, etc. - as well as many extras such as Play Stations with lots of games, DVD Player with a large folder filled with movies, a computer with unlimited internet, surprisingly high quality snorkel gear, thick beach towels - but, the very best thing it has is the view. It's difficult to explain the feeling one has looking out over this huge expanse of water and sky every day from sunrise to sunset.

The coral reef straight out from this condo building is another major attraction. Some days the waves were a bit too harsh but others were fine for successful snorkeling.

The owner sent us a useful list of recommended restaurants, activities, transportation, and websites for more research. We followed up on the condo computer and used many of the suggested choices. I particularly liked the Lobster Grill at Bolongo Bay for their stuffed Caribbean lobster and nice beach setting.

We rented a car and found it easy to adjust to the left side driving. Local drivers are very considerate. I find that the local people are very helpful and friendly in general.

We try to visit Sapphire Beach once a year and this unit is now our first choice for accommodations.

Duty free shopping is particularly enjoyable downtown in the colorful, capital city of Charlotte Amalie.
