Above and beyond expectations

  • 5 of 5

Rather than register for an expensive hotel room for a week long medical conference, we chose to take a chance on an apartment rental. One of the best travel decisions ever! The apartment was perfect. The detail in decorating was impressive. Upscale kitchen. Wi-fi. Comfortable bedroom. As has been said before, you can walk to everything. The street and location were well lit and felt safe at all times. The owner was very responsive, making sure that we arrived okay and providing a contact number for any problems (of which there were none). If we ever go back to Boston, without a doubt we will check and see if this unit is available.

All positive, wonderful stay!

This apartment is awesome!!! The owner Terry, is so professional. We received timely feedback and responses to our questions. If she told us she was going to do something, you could count on it! We loved the apartment! We were in the North End, a very busy place, but we were tucked away in our quiet apartment. From our place it was easy to get all over Boston. A 5 minute walk to Quincy Market, the subway, Boston Harbor, Paul Revere, or great cannoli! The apartment was clean with an awesome bed, stocked and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Terry!!

Although you are close to everything , the apartments location offers a quiet atmosphere where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the busy city Thank you again, and please feel free to contact us if you return to Boston Best regards Terry

North End Apartment in Little Italy

  • 5 of 5

I cant say enough about this well located apartment! We arrived when Boston had an enormous amount of snow, however this really didn't impede our stay what so ever! We walked the Freedom Trail, shopped the local shops and restaurants (there is not a bad restaurant in the entire area) and visited downtown daily. Business owners and landlords were diligent about keeping the sidewalk cleared with a path to walk. The sights, sounds and smells of Little Italy are magical and make you fell like you are in your own little world. The apartment itself was better than we could have ever expected. It was clean, well stocked, private, and very comfortable! We would definitely try to rebook in future if we decide to tour Boston in summer. I cant say enough about our stay and would very highly recommend your stay here!!!!

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to review our property! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at our Boston North End Apartment. There is so much to do within a short walk. Although it is a historic area that attracts people from all over the wold, The North End still has that feeling of being a small friendly neighborhood. I agree that the nearby restaurants are definitely some of the BEST that Boston has to offer, and I am sure that the business owners were delighted to see you! I would welcome you back to stay with us again if you decide to return to Boston at another time(when the snow has finally melted!!) Best Regards Terry

A great stay in the North End!

  • 5 of 5

We had a very, very enjoyable stay at this unique apartment tucked into a fantastic location that offers history, great food, and great sights right out the front door! The apartment was well provisioned and super-clean. We had great dinners twice at Piccolo Nido just across the street and found the Golden Goose Market (which is just around the corner) a really well-stocked grocery store. V. Cirace and Son wine store, also around the corner, carried beautiful wines and had great staff. The Old North church (built in 1723) is just a short walk away, and we enjoyed Sunday morning services there under gleaming 18th century brass fixtures and with beautiful, beautiful music. We walked miles each day, through the Financial District to the Commons, Chinatown, Newbury Street, Harvard Medical School area, and took the Green and Red lines to numerous points in Boston and Harvard. Plus, Uber is a great way to get around! We are eager for our next stay in this delightful apartment! All communications with the owner were extremely professional and thorough. Highest recommendation.

Owner's Response: Hi Mary Thank you for taking the time to write a review! We are delighted that you found your stay so enjoyable. This is a unique location in Boston's historic North End, with over 100 of Boston's finest restaurants, cafes, and specialty shops just around the corner from the front door of the apartment Its great to hear that you took advantage of being able to walk to the many historical sights, tourist attractions and Boston's public transportation system(The "T") We have an amazing housekeeping staff who always leave the apartment very clean and ready for our next guests . As owners, we think it is extremely important to be accessible to our guests not only at check in, but also throughout their stay. We would love to have you stay with us again if you are ever returning to Boston.

The location was perfect for us as we walked everywhere in the three days we stayed. It was also conveniently only a short cab ride from the airport. We appreciated that it was a ground floor apartment. The Freedom Trail was just a block away as were great restaurants and two very fine bakeries. We took the commuter train to Salem one day and spent two days on the Freedom Trail. The last morning we walked along the boardwalk (also just a block away). The unit was very well equipped with everything we needed and we were very grateful for the umbrellas as it poured rain one morning. The bathroom was a little tight but everything in the apartment was super clean and nice.

The only recommendation I would have would be a visitors binder with a bit of starter info about the Trail, nearby grocery store location and some previous visitors restaurant recommendations. It did take us a bit to get orientated and to get to a visitors map. We had to ask a neighbor for directions to a grocery so we could purchase a few breakfast and snack items (Golden Goose Market). Great vacation and now marked off my "Bucket List". Highly recommend!

Adorable, cozy, and clean...

  • 5 of 5

Adorable, immaculate (and I'm picky!) charming little ground floor apartment in the quiet area of Little Italy. We loved having the privacy and the space for the price of a smaller hotel room. The owners have thought of everything--we even had umbrellas for our rainy day. Take the Old Town Trolley Tour from the Starbucks on Commercial Street to everything. You can get on and off all day. Your ticket is good for two days. We did this too late and only had a day to use ours. We also recommend Giacomo's for takeout and seeing the USS Constitution before it goes into dry dock in 2015. Thanks, Terry. You made our first vrbo experience a great one!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we hope to see you again sometime if you ever return to Boston Best regards Terry -Owner
