Bella Casa Condominium is ideally suited for 2 couples or friends/family traveling together. My reviews say it all!
This is an 1100 Sq. Ft. Condo with 2 King bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with 2 dedicated off-street parking spaces , and 2 outdoor private patios. A fully equipped cooks kitchen with gas stove & oven, microwave, outdoor gas grill, full size front loading washer and dryer, iron and board and cleaning supplies. Both bedrooms and the living room have flat screen televisions.
This condo is located on a quiet tree lined residential street in South Capitol, which is one of the oldest and most charming neighborhoods in Santa Fe! Bella Casa has High ceilings with exposed Vigas, a light infused kitchen/living area with views to both front and back outdoor patios, a Kiva fireplace indoors and a Chiminea for those cooler evenings on the Patio. The Highest speed internet available is included, of course.
Bella Casa is in the Old Trails Condominium Complex which was built in 1983 on the site of a former estate & located less than a mile from the center of the Santa Fe Plaza, the Railyard, and Canyon Road. These locations form a Circle on the map for fabulous walking or driving adventures. We are so close to Downtown that St Francis Cathedral’s bells can be heard outside of the condo!
Enjoy the famous Plaza downtown, Galleries, Artist Studios, Museums, Loretto Chapel, the Opera, Music Festivals, Canyon Road, Santa Fe Children's Museum, Meow Wolf, Farmers Markets, and Art Shows along with excellent restaurants, wineries, sunsets, spas, golfing, skiing, fly-fishing, hiking, and cycling. Day trips are easily accomplished throughout Northern New Mexico including Taos, Red River, Los Alamos, multiple Indian Reservations, and Casinos.
The Albuquerque Airport is less than an hour away by car with Santa Fe Airport is south of town but with limited carriers.
The two bedroom spaces are separated with one up 9 steps and one down 8 steps which proves to be especially nice for guest privacy. Both of the bedrooms have King Beds and large closet spaces and hangers.
No matter what brings you to New Mexico, I believe you will truly enjoy your time at Bella Casa! This will be a place to call home while you are away.

Wonderful Stay in Santa Fe

My friends and I booked the property for a girls weekend, and it was perfect for us! It was cozy and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The beds and bedding were wonderful, and the outdoor spaces were very inviting. The host Diane was very responsive and easy to reach, and she responded quickly to all of my questions. Also, the location is terrific, very close/within walking distance of the plaza. My friends and I loved it and would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Santa Fe property

This was our annual girls trip for three ladies. We thought Diane had everything we needed in the home. I had a question and she answered me immediately. When you walk in you feel automatically warm and at home. The decor is so perfect and I believe the owner has some original artwork on the walls. Colorful and beautiful, just exactly what we had anticipated in New Mexico. It snowed when we were there and there is a cozy Kiva fireplace so we snuggled up with some wine and blankets. Its proximity to the downtown is perfect. If it was a little warmer we would have walked for sure. There are hiking trails and spas and our favorite outing was the Santa Fe cooking school! Planning our next trip soon!!

Perfect Santa Fe Hideaway!

This townhouse is appointed charmingly. There are two quiet outside areas. The bedrooms are dark and quiet. The living areas are comfortable. Diane is on top of all communication. Check in directions were perfectly clear and easy to follow. We were able to walk to the main square, to dinner and to cooking school. Great location.

My husband and I both grew up in New Mexico - my husband in Los Alamos, and myself in Albuquerque. Meeting at UNM in 1972 was the beginning of a fabulous journey for us. We moved around the country but always wanted to be back in New Mexico. Splitting the difference between our families, we ended up with the most amazing condo just outside of the craziness of downtown Santa Fe. Over the years we were blessed with a beautiful daughter who loves being in Santa Fe as well! The condo remains our very favorite spot, and we have worked hard to make it inviting, comfortable and functional for our guests. We began years ago just occasionally renting to friends and family, and have expanded to include others. We have had the best experiences with travelers, and invite you to become one of our cherished guests. We strive to accommodate the needs of each group, so let us know what you are looking for in a vacation spot, and we will be completely honest with you about our home. It is important to us that you have a great trip and everything works perfectly for you. Why they chose this property

When we finally began looking for a place in Santa Fe, we knew we wanted something close to the Plaza with all of the restaurants, galleries and museums. We looked forever it seemed, then one day we happened upon a condo for sale in the South Capitol area. Tree lined residential streets, quiet, with the most sought after elementary in town. Turns out, the condos were designed and built by friends of my husbands in the mid 1980's. Phil is an architect by trade, and upon this discovery, we knew this was the place. At the time, it wasn't very well kept, and we strove through the years to be sure it is always in pristine condition with traditional Santa Fe Style furnishings and art. Lots of love and care has gone into the unique furnishings, the acquisition of art, and continuous maintenance.

What makes this property unique

Let me start with what to expect when you arrive at Bella Casa. We have 2 dedicated off street parking spaces, which make entry with all of your bags very easy to accomplish no matter the weather...just steps from the front patio door. Both our front and back patios are complete with seating, greenery and beautiful shade trees as well as being surrounded by tall adobe walls, so they are completely private. After accessing keys you will enter through the gate, onto the front patio. This is a great spot for a favorite beverage and relaxing. It is viewed from the living room and lends fabulous light and ambiance to the condo. The back patio has a grill, easy access to dry firewood, a patio table as well as additional seating and a Chiminea. It can be viewed from the kitchen and dining area. If you are ever lucky enough to be at Bella Casa in May, you will see the magnificent Lilac bush in bloom by the kitchen window. Arch Bishop Lamy gifted this plant to his close friend, my husband's Grandfather, who was the Editor of the New Mexican for many years. It was transplanted from their home in Santa Fe and remains in our garden.
The two bedrooms are completely separate. Upstairs is a King bed, with great light and private tub/shower full bath. Plenty of storage, as well a spacious closet. Brick floors throughout, vaulted ceilings with vigas, and a great view of the back patio and beyond. In the winter months when the leaves have fallen, you can see the top of the Capitol building (also known as the Round House) from the window, and the mountains surrounding Santa Fe. Downstairs there is a queen bed, also with a window overlooking the back patio and an adjacent tub/shower full bath. Vigas, brick floors, and a large closet complete this room. Flat screen TV's are in both bedrooms as well as the living area. The Kiva fireplace speaks for itself in the living area and will provide many hours of enjoyment during your stay!
