Encircled by full-length verandahs, and set in an acre of fragrant lavender and rose-stocked walled gardens overlooking the deep turquoise Mediterranean, this private waterfront hideaway is ideally suited for a family or friends reunion or a romantic wedding. A private chef makes entertaining easy and this refined villa can comfortably host up to 14 adults and 2 children.
Classically French interiors are cooled or heated by an under floor system and sea breezes are encouraged to flow through the villas airy living spaces. The entrance hall leads to a living room, kitchen and dining room, which all have access to a generous verandah with its breathtaking sea views. Step outside and breathe in the pine-scented air before plunging into the magnificent heated pool then settling on a sun-warmed lounger for the afternoon. The stone-floored pool house has a fully equipped kitchen and an island bar separates the kitchen from the living area with an open log fireplace and oversized cushions.
The living room has been elegantly furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture against a soothing backdrop of cool contemporary artwork. A large open fireplace and sumptuous sofas invite you to sit and catch up with friends or relax with a good book. If youd rather watch a movie, take a seat in the home theater with surround sound. The perfect hub for a busy family gathering, the kitchen comes fully equipped with top of the range appliances and extends onto a part-covered verandah. You can choose to dine here at the alfresco dining table which seats 12, or more formally in the elegant dining room. Candlelit suppers in the enclosed courtyard or by the pool house in summer are particularly special.
At the end of a busy day, you can look forward to a satisfying sleep in one of eight en-suite luxurious bedrooms. Many of the rooms face the bay and some enjoy their own outdoor space or balcony. Where better to savor an early morning coffee or round off the day with a nightcap? The two master bedrooms on the first floor boast private solaria and four of the rooms are housed in the guest wing which has its own kitchenette.
Once youve rested and recharged, you might be tempted to investigate the locality. Borrow a mountain bike or hop in the car and explore. Youre just 800 meters from the beach and its only 3km to Le Rayol-Canadel and 30km to legendary Saint-Tropez. The closest international airport is Toulon, 34km away.
