This 100+ year old row house combines all the charm of its age with the contemporary feel of a high end property. This new-to-VRBO property is truly a unique and cool place. The lower level features a very open feel. The comfy living room has a HD 42" flatscreen and huge lovely windows overlooking the porch. The dining room and kitchen are open to one another. The kitchen includes an island that is great for gathering while cooking or just visiting. Counters are granite with a gorgeous tile backsplash. All S.S. appliances. The main floor also has a 1/2 bath. The upper level features a foyer sitting area great for reading a book or visiting. There are 2 bedrooms each with it's own dresser, closet space, ceiling fan and bathroom. Both baths are uniquely individual. One has an antique clawfoot tub and the other has french doors, beautiful tile, and a fantastic shower. The master suite is a cool space as it includes an all glass sun porch with a lovely east looking view. It also has a gas fireplace, a heated tile floor and ceiling fan. You will want to retreat there regularly to enjoy a glass of wine or just enjoy the view and it won't matter what the weather is doing - you will be comfortable.
The condo is within walking distance to the Old Market area which has great shops and excellent restaurants. It is an ideal location for the College World Series, NCAA Volleyball/Basketball/Wrestling, Olympic Swim Trials, Iowa casinos and major concerts at the Qwest Center.

We have lived in Omaha since 1987. Marc is a Realtor and Char teaches at University of Nebraska at Omaha. We love to travel and have personally utilized VRBO numerous times so we felt it was a perfect place for us to market our property.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2010
We love the Old Market and the downtown Omaha area in general and were looking for some time for the perfect investment property. There are many brand new condos in this area so we wanted to join the action but wanted something a little more unique than brand new while still offering the luxuries and comforts of new and we believe we have found it in this beautiful row house.
We truly remodeled this home as if we were going to live there. Our goal was to produce a setting that embodied the character of this old building while offering the luxuries of a high end property. We hope you will love staying there.
The Little Italy area is walking distance from the Old Market which offers you great shopping, eateries, sporting activities and more. It also is a unique neighborhood of it's own right with numerous unique things to offer.
We enjoyed and loved our 2 night stay at the Row House. Very clean and well organized. Everything seen in the pictures turn into reality, simply loved it. Enough space,Kitchen is pretty much stocked up with all needed utensils.Bathroom were really clean and plenty of towels to use if needed.Thank you for the chilled bottle of wine and waters in the freeze.
Marc and Char are very friendly, kind and awesome home owner(s). Every time i called or emailed them with any questions i received prompt and 100% responses. Thank you Marc and Char for letting us stay at the Row House, you guys are great, very friendly and super cool.
Once again ***** 5 star.
My three sisters and I rented this immaculate and well-appointed row house with some trepidation, previously having had our annual reunions in hotels. We were so pleased with the accommodations, personal service, and location that we changed our reunion date to accommodate a weekend that was available--no small thing for four working women! We loved everything about our stay in Omaha, but fixing meals together, playing cards around the table, and lounging in the comfort of the living room were especially lovely.
We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful Row House. The pictures are very accurate to how beautiful this house is. It's beautifully remodeled and has so much charm. Char and Marc were nice enough to meet us there on a Friday evening when we arrived. They had everything we needed there. The complimentary gift certificate for pizza, bottle of wine and cold waters in the fridge were an added bonus. My husband and I also had our son and his girlfriend with us and there was plenty of room for us to relax and enjoy our stay. And as they said, the porch was our favorite room and we thoroughly enjoyed keeping warm by the fire. We hope to stay again sometime. Thank you so much.
We just completed our second stay at this fantastic property. We had 13 family members from around the country return to Omaha for the holidays. We rented two row houses - this one and another of the newer ones that was literally a five minute walk from this row house. I had my family stay in this row house because we like it better than any other place we have stayed in Omaha - in fact, our entire family liked it better and it was our place to congregate each afternoon/evening.
To start with, we arrived on Christmas Day. We were driving over 400 miles from Wisconsin so we were not sure if we would make it in on Christmas, or stop somewhere and make it on to Omaha the day after. I asked Char and Marc (owners) if we could let ourselves in if we did make it so we wouldn't disrupt their holiday. Instead they checked with us re arrival time, and communicated on Christmas and, when they learned we would make it in around 10:30 that evening, they went to the house to have the heat set properly, the lights on, and music playing - they went waaaaay above and beyond to make sure our first impression was warm and welcoming, and on Christmas no less! They are simply the best and nicest owners we have encountered in our numerous rentals.
As for the property, we had six people stay here. This worked well by putting our son and his wife in the guest bedroom with their 2 year old son on a small air mattress (that they brought - kid sized with bumpers). We then put my wife and me in the master bedroom. And finally our 26 year old son slept on the "porch" on an air mattress. The porch is off the master bedroom and is a great spot - it has a heated floor as well as a thermostat regulated fireplace - so even though it was cold, the "porch" stays very comfortable whether used for sleeping (with the provided queen size air mattress) or as a place to sit in front of the fire.
The main attraction of the house to us, however, is the main floor living space. It is set up in a way that the thirteen of us plus guests (the most we had at one time was six guests, so nineteen of us) could all be "together". It is set up so well that we could all sit, be together, and converse easily. This property is an original row house that has been renovated extremely well, retaining the charm and character of an old row house while adding high end updates.
This is simply a great property with fantastic owners - it is the first place we look to stay when in the area.
The row house is awesome! We chose to stay here based on other reviews and the cost vs. staying in a hotel room and we were more than pleased. The updates were great, especially the sitting area off the master and the master bath. It's close to downtown so of course there's plenty to see/eat there and only about 2 minutes away. We really enjoyed ourselves and appreciated how clean the property was. The surrounding area needs some work but that doesn't take away from the house once you step inside. The owners were great as well, calling to ask if we needed anything or had questions and offering advice on places to eat and check out. We will definitely stay again if we are back in Omaha!
My girlfriends and I spent the weekend in this row house. The interior was fabulous and Marc and Cher were very welcoming and helpful. Everything we needed was provided including a gift certificate for pizza!
However the neighbors were a little bit of a problem - the row house next to this one is a rental and though I'm sure they were harmless - they were a bit loud and rowdy. Also the view was not great. I believe this is a neighborhood in transition and I hope that more people put in the work that Marc and Cher have to their property.
