Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday condo in Boothbay Harbor
Townhouse Condominium, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4).
Townhouse condominium in a fantastic location, a beautiful relaxing and spacious home for you to enjoy.
It is actually a large 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2,500 sq. ft.+ home, but one suite is unavailable to renters.
Waterside location, with an easy stroll to the town wharfs, restaurants and stores.
Local amenities galore to make this your special vacation place.
Thank you for your interest in our home.
Although we live in England, our connection with Boothbay Harbor goes back a long way, more than thirty years, in fact!
We worked here as students, married and brought our three children back for frequent vacations over the years.
Spencer and Sam our older boys began their working lives in and around the Harbor...as busboys, waiters, barmen and their happiest employment as Camp Counsellors at YMCA Camp Knickerbocker!
Our youngest son Joshua has a learning disability/autism and he spent eight truly wonderful summers with his brothers at Camp.
We were fortunate enough to finally buy our own place in 2004 and regard Boothbay as our summer 'home'.
All the stuff there is ours... it is immaculate. It was completely remodelled a few years ago..new kitchen, new appliances, new bathrooms and mostly new furniture. The linens and towels are upgraded every two years, with the exception of the bed pillows which I buy new every year.
It's not your typical rental...............we close up fully for at least seven months a year and rentals are only available appropximately eight weeks per year. Sorry....no children, no animals and no smokers.
You will enjoy the views from the deck and balcony..we have herons, osprey, ducks, shags and a multitude of wildlife visiting the water.
The small marina is a two minute stroll through the gardens. You can swim from the little rock beach (if you're very brave! We do all the time but then we're used to cool water!)
Town is a five minute walk away, with great restaurants and lovely diners.
If art is your passion, the town has some superb galleries to visit.
Take a sunset cruise around the islands, go whalewatching or take a sail on one of the antique windjammers!
Go fishing for striper, bluefish or mackerel.......even shark if you're very adventurous.
Golf at the local Country Club.
And of course.........
Eat Maine lobster inexpensively at the Lobstermans' Co- Op.
Why cook, when you can have takeaway seafood, burgers and fries at the 'soon to be world famous' Dunton's Doghouse............tell Gary we sent you!!..it's one minute walk away.
The nationally recognized Botanical Gardens are a must ........
Walk along the water's edge at Ocean Point and see (and hear) five lighthouses at once!
But most of all, do relax and enjoy our home.

Guestbook comments from the owner
"We really enjoyed Boothaby Harbor. The stay at the condo was excellant. We say a lot of beautiful scenery and went whale watching and were lucky enough to see many whales. Food was wonderful. We got our fill of lobster."
Welcome to our home. We are Valerie and Maurice Healy.
We grew up in Ireland, and now live in England........when we can't spend time in Boothbay!
We first discovered Boothbay Harbor in the 1970s when we were students, working many happy summers in the town. We just could not get enough!
As our family of three boys got older, we just had to re-establish our Boothbay connection, first renting, then buying this lovely property. Our home in Boothbay has been such an asset to our family life; our young adult sons truly look at Boothbay as their second home, not just a vacation place.
It is so tranquil, yet convenient. Is at the water's edge, a short stroll to town shops and restaurants,
We did a full refurbishment just a few years ago including a very smart new kitchen and all new bathrooms and appliances.
It has a clean uncluttered feel to it, over 2,000 sq. feet for your use.......
We just love it!
More on this later, I promise. Mostly the peace and quiet of Maine.
