A huge 3 Bedroom / 2 Bath corner executive apartment with a balcony, gas fireplace, and a great view. The apartment is a fully furnished and fully outfitted serviced temporary residence apartment appointed with executive level furniture, elegant home furnishings/accents, state of the art electronics, luxurious linens and towels, and a very comprehensive kitchen, housewares, and cookware package. Our apartment is a luxury 2-Bedroom / 2-Bath apartment with a living room sleeper sofa located right in the heart of Ballston. Just one block from the Virginia Square METRO station, just outside of the DC city limits in the very trendy Ballston area. It is 4 short stops into DC - less than 10 minutes on the train or 7 minutes by car.

Apartment: The apartment is located in a newer, modern high-rise building. It is a spacious 3-Bedroom / 2-Bath apartment at 1480 sq. ft. The in-apartment amenities include - oversized picture windows, walk-in closets, and track lighting. The apartment offers essential amenities like wall-to-wall carpeting, ceramic tiled baths, crown molding, a gourmet kitchen, and abundant storage space. The quality of the furniture and housewares in our apartments is head and shoulders above our competition.

The apartment Kitchen is a full kitchen with full size appliances including a built in microwave, dishwasher, gas range, stove, pantry, and a full size refrigerator with freezer and ice-maker. There is a washer and dryer in front hall closet of the apartment.

The Living/Dining Room is spacious with a full size sofa, chair, and coffee and end tables. The large dining table with 6 dining chairs seats 6 comfortably and there are 2 extra padded folding chairs located in the front hall closet. The sofa folds out to a very comfortable Queen sleeper.

The TV package includes expanded digital cable channels, all HD channels, plus Starz HD. The living room TV is a 42“ HD 1080i flat screen Smart TV, the bedroom TV is a 32” HD 720i flat screen, and the stereo plays iPhone/ iPod. The Living Room TV is internet accessible so you may watch your own Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. The private in-apartment Wi-Fi is free of charge. The apartment phone system includes free nationwide long distance, local calling, and voicemail.

The Master Bed Room has a king size bed, the Second Bed Room has a queen size bed, the Third Bed Room has 2 twin beds, and the living room has a very comfortable pull-out double sleeper sofa. The mattresses are Double Pillow Top. The sheets are 400 thread count Egyptian cotton. Each bedroom has a walk in closet. There are 2 full bathrooms. There is a soaking tub in Master bath.

Parking: Secured access underground parking at the property with secured apartment elevator access is $10/night per vehicle.

Building/Community Amenities: As a guest of Zen Hospitality, you have complete access to of all building amenities and common areas. Spend your leisure time in the community by availing yourself to the first class community facilities. There is a magnificent outdoor split-level cascading pool with Jacuzzi. There is a poolside Outdoor Patio with Grilling Stations. The Grand Club Room has a Billiard/Game Room, a big screen TV, a DVD player, surround sound, and a full catering kitchen. The Executive Business Center has computer access, printer, copier, fax machine, and wireless service. The 24-hour Fitness Center has resistance machines, free weights, and several types of cardio machines with individual TV screens and device jacks. The property also has a Library with a “take a book/magazine-leave a book/magazine” system. Mid-Washington D.C. is less than a 10 minute METRO ride. The apartment building is located 1 block from the Virginia Square METRO station on the Orange Line; it is 4 short stops in to midtown DC – less than 10 minutes on the train to see the White House, The National Mall, all museums, monuments and DC sights. Ballston is a very hip and trendy urban young-professional area and this building is right in the middle of it all. There are many restaurants, clubs, shops and activities within close walking distance. Wonderful Condo, concierge service less so.

The condo was as described, very neat and clean. Perfect location right on the Metro. The beds were very comfortable. Only complaint was that we could not turn the heat down. We kept setting it to 68 and it would return to 74, that is way to warm for us. Kitchen was fully stocked. Very spacious rooms. Pretty view of the town.

Now, for the concierge service when we arrived. The lady was rude. We had just traveled 8 hours with a family of 5, meeting our parents so 7 of us in all. No cart to take our belongings up 13 floors. She was unwilling to call when one became available. Simply said that on Saturday's they are difficult to locate. Offered no map of how the building was laid out. When I questioned her about how to get from parking deck back inside condo she looked at me like I was crazy. It is honestly not difficult to find your way around, but a little direction would have been nice. especially since we were hand carrying all of our belongings upstairs.

All in all I would definitely recommend the condo for family's traveling to the DC area. Just hope you meet a different concierge at the front lobby.

23rd floor - 3 bedroom apartment home in DC

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The description was very accurate and location was great! The home was clean and well kept. I would certainly rent this property if we get back to the DC area. Small grocery store on first level had every thing we needed. It was a short walk to the metro to go and see the sights. I would highly recommended this apartment and Mark and Barbara! Thanks for a wonderful place to stay during our trip!

Perfect!

Our group of six can honestly rave about this accommodation...it had everything we needed and was close to two metro stations, which we used daily. The place was very quiet, clean and comfortable with luxurious beds and bedding. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly...seems like young professionals abound. Grocery store is not far, but we took a cab ($4.50) to transport things back. There are several casual restaurants that will deliver, or the Ballston Place Mall is a short walk (5 blocks) where there are lots of restaurants. Took Super Shuttle to and from Dulles Airport which was very convenient.

Apartment Review

To help future visitors-when you first get to the property-there are parking spots around the corner off of Fairfax that are marked for future residents. We did not know and had some stress trying to figure out how to park and check in. My husband had to drive around until I could get the parking pass from the front desk. The unit was okay-not as luxe as the description suggests. The beds were comfortable. It was nice having a washer & dryer in the unit but they were older machines. There are no place mats or tablecloths for the table. Although, the unit says no pets-the building residents had quite a few dogs-in case someone is allergic-they ride in the elevators etc. We love dogs so no problem with us. We bought an extra parking pass for the three nights for our Navy son-he was called back to the ship after 1 night and we could not get a refund for the other two nights. There was no military discount either. The grocery store in the building was convenient but expensive-we used it anyway since we do not know the area and did not want to drive around too much. We used the club room (for pool) and the business center which was nice. The wifi did not always work in the unit. We did not swim in the pool but it looked nice. Since this was our first trip back East, we really did not know the area. If we come back we will probably stay at a Hotel- just to be able to get more information about the area and more flexibility with check in/out times. The concierge(s) was helpful. We were missing facial tissue and were not able to get any until after the weekend. The view was nice since we were in a higher floor. Starbucks was a couple of blocks away. Overall, the apartment worked for us. We were only there three nights and we had to drive to Newport News,VA one day so we did not get to enjoy the area as much as we would have liked.

The property is located in the very hip, trendy and family-friendly Ballston section of Arlington, just outside of the DC city limits. It is just minutes to mid-Washington DC. The apartment building is located 1 block from the Virginia Square METRO on the very convenient Orange Line. It is 4 short stops on the METRO into mid-DC which takes less than 10 minutes.

It is 2 blocks to the Ballston Common Mall and to the Harris Teeter supermarket. A Safeway supermarket is 2 blocks in the other direction. There is a Starbucks and an IHOP right outside the front door of the property. There are many restaurants and leisure attractions surrounding the property within casual walking distance. There are several restaurants, a large park and a public library right across the street.
