This beautiful home has been remodeled and refurbished to Model Home condition. It has 4 large bedrooms, and a Master Suite that is larger than many homes. Each bedroom has its own theme, ranging from San Francisco, to Hawaii. The Master Bedroom has its own Fireplace, as well as a private balcony, which provides views from one end of the Strip, to the other. You truly can see the Southpointe Hotel to your left, and Cashman Field to your right, with the Down-town area near the middle. The home is a 5 minute (or less) walk to the Las Vegas LDS Temple, and another few minutes to the base of Sunrise Mtn. It's 10 minutes to Big League Dreams, 20 minutes to the Speedway, 30 minutes to the lake (Lake Mead, 20 minutes to Down-town, and the Smith Center, and 45 minutes to Mt. Charleston. This home is perfect for my LDS Friends as it has never been smoked in, nor will we allow it to be smoked in. It's perfect for travelling youth or adult sports teams, as it has multiple Beds, Futons, etc. It's perfect for those with Culinary desires, as the Kitchen boasts new Appliances throughout, as well as a Commercial Gas Range\ Griddle\Hood. The Backyard is truly an Oasis, with Palm Trees, a Covered Patio, a built in Commercial BBQ, as well as a Commercial Griddle and built in Fire-pit. There is ample driveway parking, as well as secured Boat and RV parking. You will NOT find a home like this, and with this many amenities for anywhere near this price. All that being said, THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOME, nor are Pets permitted !!!! LVMPD are my friends and my neighbors. If you are looking for a Party Home, go elsewhere. Any crowds that exceed 15 people in he backyard, will be met with the Cops being called, and the person that rented the home will be arrested. Thanks for understanding.
My Wife and I are both semi retired. I retired from the Plumbing business, and just manage my properties in Vegas, as well as my Cabin Rentals in Utah. I provide discounts to these Cabins to my Guests, if they have the urge to stay in luxury cabins, and visit Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, etc. My Wife is still very active in her Catering business, and when you see the Appliances in the kitchen and the backyard, you'll understand. As this was our personal home for many years, and as we currently have vacation properties in Utah, we chose to list this home with Home away, in order to share it with others. The home has been paid off for many years, therefore, we can rent it for considerably less than others. We live within a few blocks of this home, and really enjoy this quiet neighbourhood. The home has been used in the past by our LDS Friends, due to its proximity to the LDS Temple. It has also been used by friends that play Softball Tournaments at Big League Dreams, what attend races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, who participate in the WorldSeries of Poker, who are Boaters, Hikers, as well as Snow Skiers. The view off the 2nd floor balcony is simply astounding, especially over 4th of July and New Years, when the Vegas skyline is ablaze with Fireworks. If you are with a travelling sports team, a convention, or just someone that wants to stay AWAY from the insanity on the Strip, than this home is for you. It's quiet, roomy, has ample parking, and friendly neighbours (some of which are Family). All that being said, THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOME !!!! LVMPD are my friends and my neighbors. If you are looking for a Party Home, go elsewhere. My neighbors are all very close friends, and deserve to retain the peace and tranquility of this upscale area. If you are looking for a house to rent that will accomodate say a softball team .....this is the place to stay. Stayed with my softball team with plenty of room and then some. Pictures definitely don't do the house any justice. Owner was very accommodating working around our softball schedule. My team and I can't wait to go back!
We came to Las Vegas for a family wedding and because we have such a large family we opted to rent this house. It was amazing! There was tons of space, a huge kitchen, a beautiful back patio area, and Doug was wonderful to work with. There were 11adults staying with us, but there were plenty of couches and futons for more if we had needed them. Plus, there was plenty of floor space for our kids to sleep on.
The view of the strip was awesome and when you walk out the front door it's almost as if you are standing at the foot of one of the outlying hills. Beautiful!
I would recommend this home to any large family group, it was perfect for us.

We had the pleasure of staying at this rental. Doug was very accommodating at the last minute for our family! The house was very spacious, clean and well stocked with anything you need while staying there. We took our small children and felt very safe in the quiet neighborhood. We would recommend this home while staying in Las Vegas. It was absolutely wonderful! Doug and his wife were so kind and nice. They even went the extra mile and recommended some places to go see and things to do. Thank you again for everything! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Doug!
I had an event to attend at the Speedway, and instead of renting 5 hotel rooms for my staff, we decided to rent this home. And though we spent most of our time working, everyone agreed that this was a great choice. This home was perfect for our needs, and was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was safe and quiet and the owner Doug was easy to work with. The master bedroom was amazing - the size of a small apartment and you can see the whole LV Strip from the balcony. The other rooms were all just right for 1-2 people. The speedway is about 10-15 minutes away, and for those wanting to visit the Strip, about the same distance. If you are looking for a place to spend time with family, friends or staff, this is the place. Thank you for an easy transaction and a wonderful home. We'll be back!
Overall the house was beautiful and worth the trip, time and money. We chose somewhere to stay that our family could use so we didn't have to overpay at a hotel on the strip. It was in a great location, close enough to grocery stores and retail stores...not that far from the strip but far enough from the chaos. Doug was very professional and a great person to work with. The house was clean and very accommodating to myself and my family. He stayed in contact with us throughout the stay...definitely worth it.
This property is located on the east side of town, on a quiet cul de sac, minutes away from the Big League Dreams Softball Complex,andthe Nellix BMX Compound. This property is walking distance to the LDS Temple, as well as Sunrise Mountain, andabout 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway,and the Down town area. It is also very close to Lake Mead,as well as the Valley of Fire, and Mt. Charleston. My personal home is blocks away, and a family member lives next door. In the event you required assistance. This home has been remodelled from top to bottom, and is truly in 'Model Home' condition.there is ample parking forBoats, Trailers, additional vehicles,etc.
