What makes this hotel unique
Maldives consist of clusters of islands lifted only 1m above Mean Sea Level (MSL). Sadly 80 % of the islands are below 1 meter above MSL. Thus makes us as most vulnerable states. During the past era the negative impacts of Climate change are strongly linked with anthropogenic activities. Carbon emission plays a pivotal role in changing the climate system of the earth where we live on. Strong actions should be processed in order to decrease these negative impacts. Simply we can live on this earth by reducing the amount of carbon being pumped in to the atmosphere.
We are vulnerable because climate change threatens to hit us first; and hit us hardest. And we are vulnerable because we have modest means with which to protect ourselves from the coming storm. We are a diverse group of countries. But we share one common enemy. For us, climate change is no distant or abstract threat; but a clear and present danger to our survival. Climate change is melting the glaciers in Nepal. It is causing flooding in Bangladesh. It threatens to submerge the Maldives and Kiribati

Grid connected solar panel systems are connected through an inverter to the main electricity supply of the building. When the electricity needs of the building become greater than the power supplied by the panels the building takes power from the grid. In the long term when Maldivian utility companies, like other modern day utility companies, start metering and buying power from Renewable Energy sources, excess power produced by such systems at any given time, can be metered and sold to the to the Utilities through the grid. With rising electricity and fuel costs solar grid connected power systems become more attractive for offices and commercial buildings as well as private residences.
