Hi...my name is Dawn and I invite you to share this unique property. It is not all finely manicured, but an ongoing labor of love!
Dawn Fagan purchased this chateau / country house in 1981
The waterfalls and clean brooks made this property my choice...in spite of the dilapidated structure.
The absence of billboards marring the landscapes drew me into Vermont.
Dawn has provided a beautiful home to rent. The trip more then amazing. The people in Vermont are very friendly as well. Would definitely come back again anytime. Maybe for the summer this time. I definitely recommend to stay here!
Dawn was a fantastic host. Her place was great, exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, and centrally located to a variety of popular destinations near Montpelier and Waterbury. My family will definitely stay here again.
The place was beautiful and cared for with such love. Soft peaceful gardens to breakfast in, lovely waterfalls and creeks to spend our days by. The property was inviting and peaceful -- secluded and yet close enough to town to get some great ice cream and lovely dinners. Dawn was a very welcoming hostess. Time stretched out and we felt renewed and refreshed. A great find.
Dawn was an excellent host! We had a wonderful time exploring the property with the streams and waterfalls. It is a short drive to the capital of Vermont, and the property is a convenient location to travel around the state as well.
Our stay was just fantastic! Dawn was a great hostess and it was nice getting to know her. She greeted us at the door, showed us around and to our room. She is very friendly, and it was nice to just sit and talk when we could. Our stay was too short! There was lots of snow and Dawn was so kind she let us borrow snow shoes and we went snow shoeing in Vermont!!! Something I will always remember and a moment I will treasure. I want to visit again in the warm weather so I can enjoy all of the great property. The house was very warm and inviting and the bed was very comfortable and everything was neat and clean and we just loved it!!!! Julie and Paul
