Overall our Girls Getaway (8 of us) experience at the condo was okay, but here are a few things to pass on to future renters of this VRBO. Our check-in instructions told us to stop at the realty company to pick up our keys and check-in package. Nothing there! I called and you actually check in at the Galleon Resort. You check in just like you do at a hotel. It is very confusing because the condo is in a hotel, and there were no instructions provided by the realty company as how to handle trash, etc. and because it is a VRBO the hotel wasn't very helpful at telling us anything because it was supposed to be covered by the realty company. There were also no check-out instructions, and after finally going through a notebook of information that you see in all hotel rooms did we find what we needed to do to avoid further charges from the resort. And, FYI, the spiral staircase to the upstairs bedroom & loft is the pits trying to get a large suitcase up! There is also only one hairdryer provided per unit which means there isn't one in the upstairs bathroom. You have to check one out (and charged for it) from the front desk, and have to return it to the front desk to get a refund! Also, the hotel is VERY picky about the number of pool towels in the units. Be sure you have the exact number in the unit when you leave as you had when you got there! The front desk actually had to watch us count our wet towels into the laundry to exchange them for dry ones! Good Grief!!! Just be prepared for not knowing what rules apply to you...hotel vs. VRBO. This is the first (and last) time we have stayed in a combo hotel/vrbo.The condo is in a great location within walking distance of Duval St. and great restaurants, shopping and planning sightseeing & water adventures. It was clean, nicely furnished & comfortable. We had fun despite the inconveniences, but don't let 'VRBO' fool you. It's actually just two units in a resort!
