This gorgeous large Craftsman home is a perfect getaway for couples, families, cast & crew, or business retreats. It comes fully equipped with original hardwood floors, a cozy front and side porch, living room with gas fireplace, large formal dining room, walk-in closets, ample kitchen and a laundry room. Yet, we also have all of the modern amenities you want and need: central air conditioning/heating, updated electrical, a modern kitchen with the added bonus of a vintage stove!
We also have a quiet outside dining area and gas barbeque to relax under the shade. The house is two bedrooms and one large bathroom. We have almost 1,600 square feet inside (over 145 square meters). You won't find a hotel suite anywhere near this large for anywhere near this value.

If you can't find a restaurant, theatre, museum or Hollywood Star on the Walk of Fame within walking distance – then you haven't stepped outside our door. We're only a hop and a skip to Sunset Blvd and Vine St, a short distance farther to Hollywood & Vine.
Getting Around:: Public transportation runs on all of the streets mentioned above (Sunset Blvd, Vine Street, and Hollywood Blvd) plus Fountain Ave just South of us. The Subway stop is only four blocks away and runs to Universal City/Universal Studios, Hollywood & Highland/Kodak Theatre to the North and all the way to Downtown and Union Station.

I showed this house to two clients who turned it down before I bought the property. I couldn't believe they didn't buy it. We're in a residential neighborhood in the Heart of Hollywood. Very quiet, yet in close proximity to everything you want to do in Hollywood.
We lived in the property for almost 10 years. The vacation rentals were so desired that we decided to make the house available. We love having people enjoy our former home.
This was an awesome location within walking distance of Cinemas, Restaurants and shops. The "Hollywood Walk of Fame" begins just around the corner and it's about a 15min walk to The TCL Chinese Theatre and the heart of Hollywood. Beverley Hills and Rodeo Drive are about a 30 minute drive and Universal City is 15-20 minutes drive depending on traffic. The house itself is pretty much as advertised and definitely has a Vintage feel. The toilet is not seperate to the bathroom. It does sleep 8 but there is actually only 2 queen beds, the other bedding is 2 x comfortable couches, suitable for children or teenagers and a double air mattress. Would happily recommend to couples with younger children and or pets.
Beautiful home inside and out. Very well maintained, very clean. Well appointed with quality bed linens and really nice fluffy towels. The bathroom is white and really clean. The kitchen was gorgeous with the old antique stove, and the dishware was nice.TV and internet worked great. We were provided a parking spot in the garage, behind the automatic gate and private driveway. Secure backyard area, although shared with the small apartment on the garage side. Never saw the other tenants. One minute walk to the 24 hour donut and coffee place on the corner. nice porch to sit and watch people go by. The owner was very helpful and honest and definitely would recommend his place to everyone!
Cannot beat this location. Was super close to everything we wanted to do in our little visit to Hollywood. Walking distance to everything, including the taping of Jimmy Kimmel that we went to. Great house, the decor is second to none, although the kitchen and bath is a bit dated. They are no reason to not book your next stay in Hollywood at this house.
We had the best weekend staying here! It was clean, spacious, full of character and only a short distance to Hollywood & Sunset blvds. The neighborhood is good but can be a little sketchy in certain parts, especially at night. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.
I have visited Los Angeles many times, and this is the first time I stayed somewhere other than a hotel. The experience was perfect from the time I made a reservation inquiry until I left to go home.
The house is immaculate; designed and furnished very nicely. Everything you need is here and is an excellent value for travelers.
I travel to Los Angeles somewhat frequently, and I look forward to staying here again.
My husband and I spent a great week at this very warm and inviting house which is beautifully and conveniently located on a quiet and safe street just 1/2 block away from Vine. Beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated, the house has generously sized rooms - even the bathroom is beautifully proportioned and spacious. Given the location so near the action of Hollywood, we were surprised how stunningly quiet and tranquil it was and we slept very peacefully every night in the extremely comfortable bed. The living room seating area was welcoming with two large sofas and there are nice outside benches on the front porch and the side porch. Off street parking is provided but we usually choose to park on the street since the driveway was a little narrow for us to negotiate comfortably. Scott, the owner, was absolutely wonderful and helpful and has a wonderful sense of humor.
We are in the Heart of Hollywood, but in a residential neighborhood. We're five minutes without a car from the Walk of Fame, Pantages Theatre, ArcLight Cinemas, 30 or so restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Two of the most famous intersections in the World, Hollywood & Vine and Sunset & Vine, are just up the street.
Other Activities: Shopping, Health/Beauty Spa, We are a Gay Friendly property.
