La casita is our cosiest and most private villa with one double bedroom opening out onto our large, incredibly clean 'mountain spring water' pool. It is a bright, airy and traditional country studio cottage. La casita benefits from a modern, well equipped kitchen, an indoor dining area and also its own private patio for outdoor dining. This is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of orange juice while watching the swallows swooping down for their morning/evening drink. Hd flatscreen tv and dvd player. La casita is suitable for wheelchairs.

The owners take great pride in the outside areas and over the years have worked hard to design and cultivate a beautiful garden which is a stunning rainbow of colour for most of the year round, complete with roses, oleander, orange trees, lemon trees and grape vines. The gardens are beautifully lit at night with the gentle tinkle of the fountain centrepiece. Nestled within the rose gardens is a moroccan style sun terrace complete with dining area, pool table, brick built barbecue and bar.
The villas also share a very large 10x5 swimming pool which is fed by underwater mountain spring water. Possibly the cleanest and freshest swim you will ever have. Surrounding the pool is a large sun terrace where you can relax on the sun loungers provided and shaded areas for relief from the spanish sun. The pool area is very large and perfect for big groups!
The 3 villas, gardens and pool area are completely private and enclosed with private guests entrance, making cortijo las olivas the perfect, safe getaway for families with young children.
We have copious amounts of private, off road parking.
There is no light pollution at cortijo las olivas and on a clear night, which is most nights, you will see the satellites, the international space station, shooting stars and the milky way in all it's magnificent glory!
Cortijo las olivas is run by a father and daughter team. Lianne will take care of your booking, help you with your flights / car hire and share her wealth of experience and local knowledge to help you plan your trip. On arrival jess will be there with a hearty welcome. Jess lives on site but provides guests with all the space and privacy they need. Jess has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area and is always delighted when people ask his advice on where to go, where to eat and what to see. You wont be disappointed!

Location – iznajar 3km
Iznajar is a stunning white hilltop spanish village overlooking one of the most beautiful lakes you will ever see! The views are just incredible! Iznajar has a variety of banks with atm's - village hospital cafes, restaurants and bars. There are a wide variety of shops:- butchers, fruit / veg, pharmacy, ironmongers, optician etc. The locals are extremely pleasant and helpful - you will find it like shopping in a bygone era. Food is cheap and of good quality.
Other local activities include horse riding, walking, bird watching, wine tasting, cycling and tennis, sailing or fishing on the lake. Drive the children to the wolf park, donkey sanctuary, chocolate factory or to the water park
Rute: a further ten minutes up the road has a great supermarket, “mercadona, the famous anis museum, a chocolate factory and a flamenco bar.
Antequera: boasts a number of supermarkets, large shopping area with boutiques, numerous bars and restaurants, plus la vironique shopping mall with eroski hypermarket, food hall and cinema. In the town there is a bull ring with restaurant. These aren’t the only attractions -there is an old alcazaba at the top of the town, el torre del homenaje, with terrific views.
Markets:- there are local markets in most of the towns most days. We provide you with information on arrival.
Good selection of local restaurants and bars in the surrounding area a number on the a33 maximum of 20 minutes drive, all have menu in english if required:- el charcon (resembles a castle), bar rossi, hotel caserio de iznajar by the lake, la paloma, le maison (by station salinas) with the up market option barclo la bobadilla hotel.
