Why Ruth chose Islington
If you study a map of London you’ll appreciate how central Archway is, however it’s also so peaceful. The local area is very safe and walking around is a must to truly appreciate it. Within a couple of minutes you’ll be in Camde Town, site of one of London’s oldest continuous street markets and always busy during weekday lunchtimes. At the end of the market stands the theater, one of London’s best known theaters now under the artistic direction of Kevin Spacey. Further down the road are a selection of fantastic restaurants and bars.
We are well served by local shops. There are a couple of cash machines (ATMs) within a few minute’s walk as well as Post Office, bank, supermarkets, organic grocer, coffee bars and bakeries.
