Photos and Description of this 5 bedroom holiday villa in Ansouis - Villa Adrienne
5 Bedrooms/4 Bathrooms
Villa Adrienne is a garden of delights- or it is located in one, anyway. This lovely Provençal stone farmhouse is set in a vast garden – 16 acres of land that also includes olive and almond groves; just 3 km. from the peaceful village of La Motte d’Aigues and 4 km. from Ansouis in the southern Luberon
The mature trees provide lots of shaded areas for relaxing, including an expansive flagstone patio dotted with chaise longue and an alfresco dining area, with seating for 10. The pool set in a grassy expanse also is surrounded by chaise lounges for sunning.
The villa interiors are stately and comfortable, with art-adorned walls and a mix of modern and antique furnishings. On the ground floor, guests find a living room that focuses on a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with an informal round dining table, a dining room for eight and an extra bedroom for a nanny or single person. The bedrooms upstairs include three queens with en-suite bathrooms and one double with a separate bathroom.
Caretakers live discretely on the property in their own detached house. They are available should guests need them and are willing to share a glass of wine if the occasion arises.
And the gardens don’t end at the Villa Adrienne boundary. Only three kilometers away is the peaceful village of La Motte d’Aigues, which can be reached along walking paths that traverse green hills covered in cherry and olive trees and grapevines. Also close by is Etang de la Bonde, a lake that offers swimming, canoeing and restaurants.

Guestbook comments from the manager
Having been to France many times, this was the first time we have ever stayed a month. And the first time we had ever stayed in this area. We loved it. This area is so beautiful, covered in vineyards, olive groves, and lavender. It is so laid back and the people are so friendly and always wanting to help.It was our first time for seeing the lavender in bloom which was spectacular. The grounds of Beauvallon were absolutely stunning. There were roses in bloom everywhere- and hydrangeas ( or Hortensias) as Bernard told me in French. I was able to always have many bouquets of flowers in t he house which I adored.
Our son and family came to visit - with a 10& 8 yr old - they enjoyed the pool, the boule court, and playing soccer in the grass. We liked to watch them from the attractive pool house.
We used Chef Sophie and thought she was exceptional. She & Frederick presented a beautiful and delicious meal and they were very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend them.
Recommendations for improvements at mas Beauvallon: we really liked it but:there was no place to put a suitcase with clothes in them / or no dressers or drawers to put clothes in. If there were luggage racks at least u could leave your clothes in the suitcase. This isn't so bad for a short time but it is bad for an extended length of time.
We did buy a few things for the kitchen - like a paring knife, pizza cutter, measuring cups, & spoons.
We truly loved the house and my personal opinion is that when you spend the kind of money that we spent, we expected the best -better linens, towels, etc. like in a good hotel. One important thing needs to b done: the folder that is left for renters needs to be written in English for those of us that need it.
