I grew up in Colorado Springs and Wisconsin. I guess I you could call me a farm girl. I have an affinity for the simple things in life. My focus is to raise a family that can share my values. Life is a gift. I live it that way.
I fell in love with this house, first because of the location. I am close to everything, yet far enough away that I still have just enough privacy. Second it is just adorable. It was built in the 1940's for war vets by a company called Lustron. It is a prefabricated home. Only 2,000 remain in the U.S.A. Warm, cozy and inviting.
Funny benefits, the house is made of steel tiles. Really, I could hang anything anywhere with a magnet! But seriously it really makes a family spend some time together. My children have learned to coexist with each other. This is the perfect family vacation home. After all it is about spending quality time together. What kid doesn't love staying up late giggling into the night sleeping on a bunk bed!
