It features a large spacious bedroom with an incredibly comfy brand new king size bed, fresh clean new bedding, and two small dressers. The sunlit living room features cable TV with basic cable channels plus HBO and DVR, beautiful hardwoods, carpet, leather sofa, arm chair, Ikea 'Solstra' fold out full-size sofa bed, queen size airbed, and coffee table. The kitchen has lovely windows, a stove, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, refrigerator and all kitchenware and utensils needed to accommodate your stay. The sunlit bathroom has a bathtub, sink, and large window so you can enjoy your bath while looking at clouds or the stars while enjoying ultra plush bath towels. Wireless internet, washer and dryer, and 24 hour off-street parking are a available for your convenience. (Note: parking is available in a small garage space that fits 1 compact or economy size vehicle so you should plan accordingly. Larger vehicles can't be accomodated and the City of Providence does not allow street parking without a residential parking permit). If you have infants or small children, a designer crib or pack and play crib is available for your use and convenience. It fits a child up to the age of 2 or 3. There is also a full-size sofa bed and queen size airbed available for guests use. Pets and smoking are not allowed. There is easy access to I-95 and 1-195 within about a mile from the apt.
The house still has some really beautiful original features from the early 1900's period in which it was built, while also providing the conveniences of recent updates. I do have mature family-oriented tenants. Occasionally you can hear a little bit of walking on the floorboards above or below. The place is wonderfully warm in the winters. Two brand new air conditioners are installed to keep guests cool and comfortable in the summer.

Both streets are home to numerous small and independent shops, though Thayer Street has a few chain stores. Brown University's bookstore is located on Thayer. A notable Thayer Street landmark is the Avon Cinema which dates back to the early twentieth century. Wayland Square is another popular shopping and dining area, located at the intersection of Wayland Ave. and Angell St.

Both colleges are just blocks from the apt. Brown University's facilities include the Main Green, the Rockefeller Library, the Pembroke Campus, and the School of Medicine. Many of the Rhode Island School of Design's buildings are along the slope of College Hill. The RISD Museum is located on Benefit Street.
Wickenden has many quaint antique shops, clothing stores, Coffee Exchange, Brickaway (which serves great breakfasts), and Fellini's Pizzeria the best pizza in Providence!

There are numerous parks and green spaces within walking and driving distance. India Point Park, the largest of these, is located along the northernmost shore of Narragansett Bay. Blackstone Boulevard Park, consists of 19.3 acres (7.8 ha) of parkland and a 1.7-mile (2.7 km) path for jogging and walking. Brown Street Park, behind Hope High School. Lippitt Memorial Park, a 6-acre (2.4 ha) park at the intersection of Hope Street and Blackstone Boulevard near the Pawtucket border. It is named after former Rhode Island governor Charles W. Lippitt. Roger Williams National Memorial is at the bottom of College Hill.
