The house was beautiful. Our stay was fantastic everyone was happy with our stay there were 8 of us and we would do it again
We had a great time! Beautiful part of the state to visit. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. We had 2 grandchildren with us and the park across the street was great for them when we weren't going somewhere. Steve was a great host. The house is in a quiet location. The master suite is large and the other two bedrooms are normal size. Those two bedrooms needed mirrors in them was the only thing missing. The kids really enjoyed the downstairs with ping pong table. It kept their dad and grandpa busy in the evenings getting beat by the kids. There are beds down there too but we didn't need to use them. The kitchen was roomy and plenty of dishes to eat on. It could have used some more pots to cook in but we managed with what was there. There is a hot tub on the back porch but we didn't have time to use. We did use barbque pit one night. It's a gas grill. Overall we had a wonderful time. Wish we could have stayed another week. We visited Niagara fort, the falls of course. We went to Darian amusement park for the entire day. We also visited man made underground cavern in Lockport. Also made trip into Canada to visit falls on that side and visited park and ate at Ruth Chris. Can't forget we went on Maiden of the Mist boatride. I would recommend this to friends and relatives for sure.
Steve's place was perfect for our family of 4. We spent 3 nights over Memorial Weekend. The house was clean and ready upon our arrival. We arrived about an hour earlier than expected, but was not an issue. Steve gave us a thorough tour and detailed explanation of how the flat screen and surround sound worked. He offered the playstation games as well as many DVD's. The master bed (king) was very comfortable. Both my kids also commented on how comfortable their beds were. The hot tub was great. It was clean and tested perfect with the test strips that were available. We enjoyed the back deck as well with an abundance of privacy. Although we did not take advantage of the ping pong table in the basement, it was there for our use. The house has a 2 car garage and both bays were open for parking. The neighborhood is also kid friendly. There is a beautiful park/playground directly across the street. There is also a huge field with soccer nets. We extremely enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at Steve's again. Thanks again for a great stay Steve!
Steve was an awesome host, you could tell he wanted you to enjoy yourself plus he made you feel at home. We had seven family members stay, and we were having an early Christmas celebration, so the layout and amenities of the house were perfect for that. The use of wood and ceramics throughout with earth tone colours made the stay very relaxing, but if you are still tense after sitting in front of the roaring fireplace go jump in the hot tub and enjoy the view. Lots of things to do near by, but we enjoyed spending most of our time there.
This home was beautiful. We stayed one night with a child and had plenty of room. We cooked in the kitchen and had no trouble. There is a wonderful restaurant to walk over to. Locals with delicious food. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. Definately worth checking out.
