The design is of Danish influence, with original artworks by a local-based Danish artist on the walls. Located in trendy Islington (famous for music and art and urban culture), the style of the property is well in-keeping with the local area. Conveniently situated, the property is within a few minutes’ walk from lots of local shops: In addition to several supermarkets right on your doorstep, there are lots of interesting independent shops, as well as several bars and restaurants close by too. There are also superb transport links to London’s West End, operating both during the day and throughout night.
Strongly influenced by contemporary Danish minimalist design, the beauty of this property is its simplicity and functionality. It is modern and very convenient. The beautiful living area is truly unique, with original artworks by a local artist on the walls. There is plenty of space to sit and relax and enjoy the works. The living area is equipped with lots to keep you entertained including a TV with around 50 channels, a DVD player, CD Player and radio, plus there are some books and board games for a more conventional form of entertainment.
If you require some peace and serenity, this can be sought on the balcony: In the summer, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views of the lush communal gardens down below. In the winter, when the leaves have fallen from the trees, one may experience great views of the fantastic city of London from this balcony. Within the property there are two good-sized double bedrooms, each with very large mirrors and a huge amount of storage space in the built-in wardrobes. The beds are new, and bedding and towels are provided.
The kitchen is again modern, with everything that one needs for their stay, including a modern cooker & oven, a coffee machine, kettle & toaster, washing machine, dishwasher and plenty of cooking utensils and china.
The bathroom is a modern tiled bathroom with bath, shower toilet and a heated towel rail. The building itself is modern, secure and kept very clean: The communal areas are cleaned every two weeks, and the property benefits from a secure entry-phone system. The communal gardens are secure (entry via key only), and are very well maintained.
The property itself is located in a quiet, leafy and well-kept street. Within the immediate vicinity of the property is a mini High Street, literally a 3 minute walk from the front door. Sainsbury’s local, Tesco’s local and other supermarkets, two pubs (The Lord Clyde), a fish bar, barbers shop (Amadeus Hair), dry cleaners, food and wine shop, betting shop, minicab service (Essex Express). Within a short walk or bus ride away is the trendy Highbury & Islington area. This area is popular and famous for its great music venues, art galleries, bars, clubs and restaurants.
For travelling to London’s West End, the property is ideally located. It is a five minute walk to the nearest tube stop. From there, one can get to famous landmarks such as Green Park (for Buckingham Palace) and Oxford Circus in 15 minutes (via the Victoria Line, London’s most up-to-date underground line). The local area is also brilliantly served by local bus routes. Over six bus routes serve the local area, so should you won’t have to wait too long if you’re travelling by bus. In addition, there is a choice of three night buses that can take you from various parts of London’s West End to within just a few minutes walk from the property. If you prefer a taxi, it really shouldn’t cost too much as the property is only 4 miles from the centre of the West End.
