The Sands is located directly on the ocean with your own private stairway down to a beautiful, swimming and snorkeling beach. The Sands entire property features seven bedrooms and four bathrooms with two kitchens, a pool surrounded by tropical plantings and ocean front views that you will never forget!
The Sands entire compound is a walled, very private estate that includes: The Sands - Harbour View, a four bedroom and two bathroom unit and The Sands - Harbour Bluff, a three bedroom and two bathroom unit. Each unit is a separate house with its own entrance and fully stocked kitchen.
The Sands entire compound is an excellent choice for large/extended families or a large group of friends. There are seven bedrooms in total for 14 people plus an additional futon in the TV room that can sleep two additional people for a total of 16.
The ocean front location makes The Sands a popular vacation rental. You have it all here with the swimming pool and the ocean and it is all up for you to decide. The North shore beach is fantastic with rarely more than two or three people on it. The snorkeling around the point is fantastic with many tropical fish.
The kitchens have both recently been refurbished with all new cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes, silverware and barware.
The furniture has all been recently recovered in white denim for a fresh beach atmosphere and with two living rooms, a TV room, two kitchens, two enormous balconies hanging over the blue waters and a secluded private and very tropical swimming pool there is room for everyone to spread out and relax!
The pool area is a tropical delight with many palms and colorful plants and is completely private for swimming and sunbathing nude if you like.
The grounds are beautiful as well with brightly blooming bougainvilleas, Hibiscus, a variety of palms including, Coconut Palms, Areca Palms, Traveler's Palms, MacArthur Palms, giant Birds of Paradise, Heliconias, fragrant Ylang Ylang as well as ever-blooming Bananas.

The crew at Vieques did a great job of welcoming us at the airport, taking us to the rental car and then to the property. The location is excellent, because you have the "biggest" supermarket near, and all the routes to go to town, the beaches at the ex-base, and Esperanza. And the best kept secret, its private beach for a short walk... The only drawback is that if you are a late sleeper, the curtains are light...
