Imagine that you're in Southern France surrounded by magnificent boulders. We are located on the Joshua Tree Park’s border. Wildflowers and Desert Canterbury Bells, are appearing after recent rains. A herd of Bighorn sheep have come onto the boulders above the house in April. Our jasmine, wisteria, and rosemary are blooming now. We provide pruners to cut fragrant flowers and take rosemary and cypress home with you. You can hike from the house directly into the national park. You might spy Bighorns, owls, hawks, horned lizards, foxes, horned lizards, and coveys of quail. Our kitchen is equipped for chefs. We love hosting children who love animals, boulders, and cave exploring. White and purple wisteria will soon be blooming.

Explore our Valley of the Moon, with caves and canyons right behind the house where you'll see no other hikers and explore dramatic rock formations of the National Park without getting into your car. Ideas for hiking trails from the house directly into the park are given during the tour upon arrival. Villa dei Fiori is the home of a filmmaker and writer who has created a des-tination for solitude and serenity. Bighorn sheep are often seen on the boulders over the house so don't forget your camera and binoculars. We encourage you to cut fragrant rosemary, French lavender, Carolina jasmine, and Arizona Blue cypress to take home with you Rose pruners are by the kitchen door and we have many vases for making bouquets. The pool is always open but the best swimming time begins in April and lasts through mid-October, after which time it begins to cool down due to falling nighttime temperatures. Joshua Tree is often 12 degrees cooler than Palm Springs. The six person hot spa heats to 104 degrees. The gas barbecue is on the kitchen terrace just 12 feet from the kitchen adjacent to the laundry room. Two dining terraces overlook the boul-ders, a Joshua tree and are surrounded by the heavenly scent of rose-mary and French lavender.
