This well-maintained home was purchased in 2005. Many updates and renovations have been made since then. It now has a cabin-like feel that is warm and inviting. Set peacefully on 12 acres of land on VT route 30, it's a ten minute walk to the center of the unspoiled village of Jamaica, VT. where you will find the general store, a coffee shop, a place to have a nice dinner, and more.
The grad house is a ranch style home with three bedrooms and a full bath. It sleeps six to eight comfortably and features an open concept kitchen, living room and dining room with a cathedral ceiling. It’s a spacious area where all can gather.
We welcome the entire family including pets because we consider our pets part of the family. From a hair dryer to kitchen appliances; from and iron to fresh linens... Everything you need for basic living is already there and available to you.

Hiking – Jamaica state park is located in the center of Jamaica village. It offers spectacular panoramic views and 780 hiking trails. Also the long trail, Appalachian trail and Catamount trail all cross through the area.
Boating & canoeing – there are several pristine lakes and rivers that offer many opportunities for the water enthusiast.
Fishing – Jamaica has many rivers, brooks and streams that offer natural and stocked trout and salmon.
Golf – Stratton, VT. glen eagles and tater are some of the most challenging courses in southern Vermont.
Bird watching – Vermont lies in the pathway of the annual north-south bird migration. Its backyards and bogs, marshes and meadows, forests and fens are visited by over 180 species who breed here with many more just passing through.
Alpine skiing –Ski Bromley, Ski Magic and or Ski Stratton areas surround The Grad House.
Cross country skiing and snowshoeing – viking cc center, wild wings, Grafton ponds and Stratton Mountain offer groomed parks and Jamaica state park and green mountain national forest provide natural trails.
In addition. You could discover Hamilton falls here in town or venture to Hildene, the Lincoln family home. Perhaps you would like the theater and shops in Weston or the alpine slide in Bromley?
