This is a family home experience for an executive away on vacation or moving into the area. The three bedroom home is very comfortable and updated in a top school district with award winning, El Camino Real Charter High School. The area has long term, upscale residents due to its proximity to Warner Center, area colleges, and the local beauty of the Santa Monica Mountains and beaches.
The home is a vacation style rental starting at $350 per night up to six persons and $425 per night during differing seasons and number of bedrooms/guests. The home rents from 7 nights to 28 nights at a time. Longer periods may be available for corporate needs upon request. A refundable security deposit of $250 is required plus $49 for damage insurance.
The house itself has lots of natural light, tall vaulted ceilings, spacious rooms and expansive windows. It has the mid century modern feeling of walls of glass overlooking a sparkling pool as you enter the voluminous entry and living room. The flooring is largely bamboo wood, all the counters are stone and the finishes have been recently upgraded, including two remodeled bathrooms. The decor is contemporary Pacific Rim style and relaxed.

Adjoining to the property is a second Master Bedroom or manager's suite. The second Master Bedroom may be rented as an option at an additional $75 per night to complete the 4 bedroom rental. The property is full service with weekly gardening, pool service and biweekly house-cleaning. All utilities are inclusive with wireless internet and satellite TV. We also have tennis courts and a rec center with Olympic pool just one mile away. Small pets are allowed. No smoking is allowed inside please and is prohibited in public establishments.

The backyard of our property is perfect for barbecues, sun bathing, wine tastings and dining by the pool. The pool is 40 ft long and ideal for swimming laps and having fun with the kids. The pool is naturally heated by our sunfilled days but we can use a pool cover if you require extra heat in the pool. This is a suburban family neighborhood and perfect for walks in the evenings or strolls around the lake. The area also has lots of fine dining, area malls and easy proximity to shopping.
The activities in the area are abundant with local Malibu and Central coast wineries as well as the beach just 15 minutes away. We are also thirty to forty minutes from Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. Some great day trips would be to Santa Barbara, Malibu Wineries, Magic Mountain, The LA Zoo, Universal Studios, Disney Land and Knott's Berry Farm. There are ALWAYS film openings, live music, art galleries and concerts with numerous local venues. We also have a Saturday Farmer's market in Calabasas and a nice Old Town area with a biker's bar. You will never be without something fun to do!

Sarah couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. She is very knowledgeable about sights to see and things to do and has a lovely home. The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet and waking up to the beautiful pool and serene surroundings was a joy!

I worked in the Los Angeles real estate development community as as Project Designer and Design Manager. This property is very nice because of its mid century architecture and location close to area beaches and parks. The open feeling with lots of natural light and its expansive pool view is very calming and filled with good energy.
The pool views to the backyard from all the major rooms gives you a sense of outdoor living, imbued with light. The neighborhood setting on a large corner is also very tranquil. This location has easy freeway access so you can get anywhere quickly.
This is a great location in the west San Fernando Valley and close to Warner Center. The area is easily accessible to downtown Los Angeles, local beaches and area attractions. Residents enjoy the area due to a more quiet, suburban setting with upscale communities, great schools and many local parks and beaches.
