This is a truly elegant home which sits in an exclusive row of terraced houses, minutes from Regent's Park and Primrose Hill.
Each room in this property has been tastefully decorated and the home is presented in an immaculate condition throughout.
Accommodation is displayed over five levels connected by a graceful staircase.
On the ground floor the dining room has a large wooden dining table which can seat up to 10. This leads on to the kitchen which is smart and stylish, offering a sleek white and black colour scheme and packed with modern kitchen appliances including oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, warming plate and coffee maker.
On the ground floor is a further study area with a utility room behind with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The sitting room sits on the first floor and is decorated in white and cream tones, with a feature fireplace and sash windows to the front and back which let in lots of light. The large flat screen tv has Sky and a DVD player.
The master bedroom takes up the whole of the second floor with a super-king bed, dressing room, en suite with bath and separate shower.
There is a delightful little landing conservatory with views of the garden from a higher vantage point (a lovely reading spot) and a small staircase leading guests down to the garden level.
The top floor has 3 further bedrooms - a single room with a single bed, a double room with a super-king bed and a further double with a king size bed and its own sink. There's a bathroom with bath, separate shower and hairdryer on wall.
On the lower ground floor room is a large bedroom with a king size bed, bathroom, separate living area with a sofabed (can accommodate one guest) and a beautiful extension with a glass ceiling and French doors which lead guests out to the garden. There's a tv in this living room and, neatly tucked away, is an office space which is accessed beyond a small archway.
There are five bedrooms in total - four doubles and one single (with the use of an additional sofa bed if needed) - 3 bathrooms and 2 loos.
The garden is a real treat for sunny days. It's well manicured and there's a paved area towards the back with table and chairs for al fresco drinks and dining.
The property is located on a private road and off road parking is available.
You are minutes from the delights of Regent's Park - one of London's Royal Parks - with its beautiful green space, lakes and open air theatre - and Primrose Hill which boasts great views across the Capital. You can walk to the village of Primrose Hill with its stylish shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Minutes away is quirky Camden Town, with its vibrant live music scene and market offering unique gifts and unusual antiques!
You are a few minutes' walk to Camden Town tube (Northern line) which is just 2 stops from King's Cross St Pancras. commute to Oxford Circus in about 15 minutes by tube or bus. Excellent connections are nearby for travelling to the Olympic Village (Stratford) with Camden Road Overground station a 10 minute walk (or a few minutes by bus) and 15 minutes to Stratford.
We would suggest this house to other families but feel it would also suit couples and people visiting London for business. The home was exactly how it looks in the pictures and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. We would recommend booking with Vive Unique.
Bordering Regent’s Park, Camden Town in northwest London is best known for its market and perhaps more recently the late great Amy Winehouse.
It became an important location during the early development of the railways and is located on the London canal network. In 1816, the Regent's Canal was built through the area creating a lock around which Camden Lock Village was developed. Today it is home to the internationally renowned Camden Market where you are sure to find something for the whole family. Amongst the bustling clothes, crafts and jewellery stands, there are some really unique pubs and bars offering nightly live music and DJs. The Lockside Lounge on the water’s edge is a popular spot, as are the Barfly and Proud Camden music venues on Chalk Farm road on the west side of the district. You can enjoy fresh food from every continent whilst sitting astride a motorbike on the canal’s edge, eating and watching the ducks swim by.
This area is renowned for its alternative culture although there are many period properties to enjoy a traditional style of home, from Georgian and early Victorian townhouses to modern apartments and mews homes on cobbled streets, making this an area full of character which will appeal to everyone. Many townhouses in Camden are over three or even four floors so there’s plenty of space for the whole family to relax.
