Located along a charming cobbled street, this is a fantastic 3 bedroom mews house arranged over three floors. You're in the heart of Little Venice, so named because of all the beautiful canals in the area. For easy connections across London the property is within close proximity to Warwick Avenue Underground station.
There is a large living/ dining space with tasteful modern furniture on the ground floor. The sleek white walls and big windows make the room bright and fresh, with French doors leading out to a smart enclosed courtyard. There is a delightful separate kitchen which has all you require for making meals and doing your laundry (with washer/dryer and dishwasher).
On the first floor you will find two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a large, modern walk-in shower with loo, sink, large mirror and heated towel rail. While the other caters for lovers of baths with a tub (with shower extension), loo, sink, heated towel rail and another big mirror.
On the top floor there is a loft-style bedroom and study area. Please note, depending on guest requirement, there can be two luxury double air mattresses set up in this room.
The Little Venice area is home to many great cafes, restaurants, boutique shops and supermarkets. You can be at the platform for the Heathrow Express at Paddington Station within 5 minutes. Paddington station (to reach the entrance of the Underground is closer to a 10 minute walk) is well connected on the District, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Bakerloo lines. You'll also find mainline connections to towns outside of London for day trips as well as a large bus network. You're also less than a 10 minute walk to either Warwick Avenue or Edgware Road stations. You can reach Marylebone on foot in 10 minutes and the famous Baker Street in about 15 minutes. Selfridges and Marble Arch are about a 20 minute walk or 5 minutes on the Underground or bus.
Westminster is a well-to-do, historical area with many prestigious landmarks and visitor attractions. It provides a wide choice of parks and open spaces such as St. James Park and Green Park, as well as political London icons 10 Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament. The Palace of Westminster, ‘Big Ben’, Buckingham Palace - home to the Queen of England - and Westminster Abbey where Kate Middleton and Prince William were married, are all in this beautiful area. Parliament Square, with its lawn and statues of past statesmen, is a popular tourist spot and a space from which you can see some of the most iconic architecture of the Capital.
Families will enjoy this area, with many luxurious modern developments nestled amongst the traditional period homes which provide plenty of space. Take a walk along the Victoria Embankment which has some brilliant views of the city’s skyline, and if you head to the Southwest, the area of Victoria has many restaurants, bars and shops to explore, particularly in Cardinal Place. One eatery of note is in the Old Westminster Library which dates back to 1893 and was transformed into an upmarket Indian restaurant in 2001: The Cinnamon Club.
