At your arrival we will recive you with a dossier about the town and area. Plus we will provide you with a map and recomendations with things to do and visit. We can also recomend best local restaurants. Best beaches in 10min. drive: Calella de Palafrugell, Begur beaches, Palamos... Kayaks also at Calella. Cultural activities- all over the region: Figueres- Dalis museum- 40mins drive Medieval towns- 15-20 mins drive- Peratallada- a must to visit. Restaurants- too numerous to mention. Begur has a very good choice as do the coastal villages. The house manual has previous guests comments on local restaurants. Shops- an interesting selection of very good shops selling clothes, jewellery, etc. Food- excellent speciality shops in Begur for fish and meat plus very good supermarkets. Cycling- bykes can be hired in Palafrugell Walking- this is wonderful walking country, especially out of season when it is not so hot. The tourist office has a map showing popular walks. Night life- plenty if you want it but there is not a string of discos here. Mainly late night cellar bars.
