Lovely villa Badia Grande

On arrival the house was really clean and we were met by Jurgen who took the time to explain where everything was.Everything worked and the minor problems with the internet were dealt with very efficiently by Jurgen and he had it all fixed very promptly. The swimming pool area is small but very nice with plenty of chairs for the terrace area.There is a good table and chairs for eating out and a lovely bbq area at the back of the house. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need. There is a small supermarket and some restaurants just round the corner from the house.The restaurants were good and the supermarket useful for small items. There is a large well stocked supermarket within 10 mins drive of the house. The house has seperate air con upstairs and downstairs which was really efficient and very quiet. The only thing to note is the satellite TV is all German channels other than BBC news.This did not bother us but there was no DVD or English film channels. The property owners Jurgen and Uschi live across the road and they are always happy to help if need be and equally they do not drop in all the time to check up on you! We had two teenagers with us and although the area is quiet there are plenty of watersports in Arenal and a good dive school. The lovely beach of El Trench is not far and there are boat trips to Caberra.The capital Palma is only 15 to 20 mins drive with plenty of good shopping. We had a very enjoyable 2 weeks and hopefully we will be back soon.

Diese Finca ist sehr schön und wir hatten eine sehr Erholsame Woche. Auch unsere Vermieter waren sehr Nett und ich kann nur sagen das es Bestimmt nicht der letzte Urlaub dort gewesen ist.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Ein schönes Ferienhaus, in einer für uns passenden Lage. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet, der Vermieter war sehr nett, wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt .

Vorsicht vor dem Vermieter

Das Haus befindet sich in einem ruhigen Ort (abgesehen von den Autoposern) die gerade spät Abends vom Ende der Straße liegenden Beachclub kommen. Der Aussenbereich mit der Terasse und der Pool sind sehr schön, die Inneneinrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Vermieter (wohnt direkt gegenüber) ist mit Vorsicht zu geniesen. Bei der Übergabe vom Haus bekamen wir auf nichts eine vernümftige Antwort. Beispiel, Frage: Wo kann man in der Nähe gut Essen? Antwort: Ich kann ihnen nur 10 Restaurants sagen wo sie nicht Essen können. Anderes Beispiel, Was sind schöne Ausflugsziele in der nähe? Antwort: Die Sozis haben alles kaputt gemacht. ??? usw. Das hat zwar seine politische Gesinnung beantwortet aber nicht meine Frage. Das ging noch eine weile so weiter bis er endlich gegangen ist. Leider kam er die Tage drauf andauernd um irgendwelche kleine unnötige Arbeiten am Haus zu verrichten. Komischer Weise immer kurz nachdem wir mit dem Auto vom Strand oder Ausflug zurückkamen (es hat auch seine Nachteile wenn der Vermieter gegenüber wohnt). So wurden wir erheblich in unserer Privatsphäre gestört. Dabei unterhielt er uns mit seinen Politischen Ansichten und lästerte über seine vorherigen Mieter. Wenn ich mal zu Wort kam hatte ich ihn jedes mal gefragt ob wir das Haus am Abreisetag etwas länger bleiben könnten da der Flieger erst um 17:55 Uhr ging (ich habe im Internet nachgeschaut und gesehen das nach uns bis zum Ende des Jahres keine weiteren Buchungen für das Haus vorlagen). Als Antwort bekam ich leider nur was von seinen Schrecklichen Mietern und noch schlimmeren Sozis zu hören. Wir durften dann am Abreisetag gnädigerweise bis 14 Uhr bleiben doch hat der Vermieter gleich Vormitags einen elektrischen Poolreinigungsroboter in in den Pool geworfen und und uns mitgeteilt das wir einen Stromschlag bekommen falls wir es wagen sollten noch mal in den Pool zu gehen. Dann präsentierte er uns die Stromrechnungsnachzahlung über 147€ (für 2 Wochen) obwohl wir die Klimaanlage nur selten benutzten. Auf die Frage warum die Rechnung so hoch sei antwortete er Wortwörtlich: die Sozis haben die Strompreise verdoppelt. ??? Ich könnte noch ein paar Anekdoten berichten aber das würde den Rahmen sprengen. Ansonsten haben wir den Urlaub sehr genossen werden ihn aber nächstes mal woanders verbringen.
