Large Trendy Apartment (sleeps 8) With Garden

Stay in the heart of trendy East London, 3 minutes walk to Old Street tube station, 6 minutes to Hoxton square and central Shoreditch with its super cool cafes, hip bars, awesome galleries, trendy restaurants and boutique shops…this area has it all! Also on the same street as the apartment is Saint Luke's, the home of the London Symphony Orchestra.

The apartment;

The area has all you need within minutes of the front door, there's great coffee shops including Shoreditch Grind, Ozone cafe and restaurant (two of my favourites). The city arts project (Gallery), Mcqueen restaurant and bar and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant are all within a few minutes stroll from the apartment.

From Old Street tube station you can get anywhere in Central London within minutes, this is one of the best locations if you want to get around London and to experience all the great things London has to offer.

Kings Cross, Camden, Angel and London bridge are only a couple of stops away from Old Street on the underground. It takes 10 minutes to get to Covent Garden from Old street and 12 minutes to Oxford Circus.

The apartment itself has recently just been renovated to a very high standard, with solid composite work surfaces and wooden floors. There are two large double bedrooms and a king size comfortable and easy to use folding sofa bed in the living room. If there are more than six guests we can also provide and inflatable double bed. There are two bathrooms with bath and shower facilities, one is an ensuite.

For laundry there is an energy efficient washer/dryer in the apartment and clean towels, bedsheets and linen are all provided for you. Everything you need is in the apartment waiting for you when you arrive. There is a fully equipped kitchen for you to prepare meals and dining space to enjoy eating in. There's high speed WIFI internet, cable TV, plenty of books and DVD's for you to enjoy and also a courtesy mobile phone for you to use whilst you are in London.

Before you arrive the apartment will be professionally cleaned and on arrival a member of our team will be in the apartment waiting to greet you and explain all you need to know about the apartment, the area and answer any questions you may have. I'm a trained carpenter and run my own business. I've travelled a lot myself, mainly in Europe, Asia and the Americas. I've also lived and worked in Rio De Janeiro, Barcelona and Paris where I learnt to speak Spanish, Portuguese and French. I still like to travel and greatly enjoy meeting people from all over the world who come to stay in one of my apartments.

We just returned to the states from our two week vacation in London & Paris. This property was perfect for our group! Booking was easy and every time we had a question it was answered immediately. We were looking at schools for our son and being 1 block from the subway and bus stops was ideal. There was always hot water and we all slept comfortably (there were 7 of us!). A nice grocery store around the corner, a great pub, a post office to mail things home and a pharmacy that helped us with an injury from walking all over London. If our son has the opportunity to attend school in London...we would rent this space again. I have already suggested it to friends. You are on the ground floor, it is a quiet neighborhood and it feels very safe. I realize we are from a big city... we were out early and home late every night and never felt uncomfortable. Even if we would have stayed in for a day..it would have been cozy and comfortable. The price is right, the location Central, the photos are right on.

A delightful apartment - I will be staying again!

I visit London regularly and have stayed in several of Clive’s places. I think this is his newest, and one if the nicest. Firstly it is modern, secondly it has two bedrooms, thirdly it has a courtyard garden and last – but equally important – it is very well situated. The open plan living area/kitchen is light and bright. Large patio windows lead into the courtyard garden where there is seating for al fresco dining (which on a late August evening I was able to do) and two deck chairs - very English! The kitchen is very well equipped – all equipment, utensils etc seemed new. It’s well supplied – lots of cutlery, mugs, glasses, plates etc – (too often rental apartments have the absolute minimum of everything. The main bedroom has a comfy double bed (fairly low, ‘futon type’ so maybe not so good if you have back problems), fitted wardrobe and lots of clothes hangers. There’s even an iron and ironing board if you arrive with creased clothes or need to wash them. The en-suite shower room is fabulous – very light, and with lovely tiles (in fact it is all done in shades of grey (just a couple before you ask!). There’s an overhead ‘rain shower’ that is nice and powerful, with a handheld attachment as well. Again all seemed very new and very clean. The second bedroom has also has a comfy double bed. There is no wardrobe but there is a clothes-hanging area, again with plenty of wooden hangers (so much nicer than the mismatch of cheap plastic ones you so often find). The bedroom didn’t have a mirror, which it needs, and I have left that as a guest comment. The ‘family bathroom’ is also very well decorated and modern with a bath and overhead shower. The apartment is situated in a very quiet street. It is not a ‘busy through street’ and very few vehicles seem to use it. The courtyard garden backs on to a park, and except for some children playing there on the sunny afternoon I stayed it was very quiet. The area - It is in what I call the ‘north of the old City of London’. If you don’t know London then this is not the West End – Oxford Street etc. So if you are planning on visiting there, or Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, etc then it's a 10/15 minute tube or 20 mins bus ride. But I found it walking distance to the historic 'City attractions' - Royal Exchange, Leadenhall Market, St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern, River Thames and loads more. Best of all is its so close to the new trendy nightlife area of Shoreditch & Hoxton etc.

Appartement agréable, propre et très bien situé, correspond totalement à la description. Nous étions deux couples et 4 enfants et l'appartement est très fonctionnel pour nous 8. Juste un petit bémol appartement en rez de chaussé et assez mal insonorisé. Mais globalement nous conseillons cette adresse.

DUE FAMIGLIE ITALIANE A LONDRA

L'appartamento è molto confortevole, pulito e nuovo. La cucina è attrezzata con tutto il necessario, il giardino è ottimo per rilassarsi e la disponibilità di 2 bagni è l'ideale per 6 persone.
La stazione di Old Street è a pochi passi dall'appartamento e permette facili collegamenti con il centro di Londra.
L'unico problema è stato il fatto che le tende non coprono completamente le finestre e di notte le luci dei lampioni rischiarano le camere mentre a noi piace dormire al buio!
Clive e il suo staff sono molto disponibili e hanno risposto subito a tutte le nostre domande. Anita ci ha accolto all'appartamento ed è stata molto gentile e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie.
Raccomando questo appartamento a tutte le famiglie che vogliono passare una vacanza indimenticabile in una bellissima città.
