Enjoy the comforts of a large house with entertainment electronics on the inside, wireless throughout the property, and a lovely shaded backyard with a beautiful pool. This house is right for a large family or a few families who would like to vacation together--whether you want to hang out on the property or venture out to explore. It's in a lovely neighborhood where the deer roam freely through large lots covered with oaks. While you're situated serenely on a 3/4 acre, tree-covered lot in our quiet community on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, you're only 2 or 3 miles--depending on what direction you take--from two different Walmarts. So, we’re not far from civilization--if you know what I mean. We’re located a couple of miles from the 1604 Loop of San Antonio as well as Interstate 35, the corridor linking San Antonio, New Braunfels, San Marcos, and Austin. You're in a prime location to see San Antonio and the greater area.
Our Home is a 4BR/3BA, 15-year-old executive home located in an outer northeast suburb of San Antonio. This spacious house has a little over 4000 sq ft of living space. There are open living areas downstairs with all four bedrooms and a bonus/media room upstairs. There are 6 TVs (incl 50' flat screen) with one in each bedroom. Most of the home is carpeted except for tile through the bathrooms, kitchen, and traffic areas. We enjoy a large park-like, fenced backyard where we have a beautiful lagoon pool and heated spa. A large circle drive and garage facilitates ample parking. The home has wireless internet, and one old computer available if you don't bring your own laptop. This was our primary residence for a long time and is equipped accordingly.
San Antonio: A Vacation Destination: So much to see and do... It's become a vacation destination for more than just Texans--if that wasn't enough. While this list is far from exhaustive, here’s a few things conveniently located nearby:
10 mins to Natural Bridge Caverns and Wildlife Ranch; 20 mins to New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn, nearest river tubing, historic Gruene; 25 mins to SA International Airport; 30 mins to Downtown, Riverwalk, Sunset Station, Alamo, Six Flags; 45 mins to Sea World, San Marcos tubing and popular San Marcos shopping outlets; 60 mins to Austin or charming Fredericksburg.

I remembered some fond childhood memories when we pulled up and saw all the deer sitting in your yard. I remember deer roaming the neighborhood when we lived in Deerwood Estates in San Marcos. We loved sitting out by the pool (yes, the cool temps didn't scare off the kids) and having plenty of room for everyone. Thanks again for sharing your home and allowing us to rent it. It is beautiful. What a wonderful neighborhood.
I (Jeff) retired from the US Air Force in 2010; my wife (Gale) continues to teach HS English part time. We've been married since 1984--to each other! Because our three children have flown the coop, we are now empty nesters and are spending time chasing them and their families.
It's the right location--on the edge of San Antonio near I-35 in the direction of New Braunfels and Austin. I fell in love with the neighborhood when I started looking for a place to live following the completion of my USAF career and our residence on base. The property was perfect for my family of older kids who frequently entertained friends at home.
A quiet, large oak-covered neighborhood where deer roam freely, but so conveniently located to all that San Antonio and New Braunfels have to offer. I have never lived anywhere quite like this neighborhood.
