3 bedroom, 2 bath Penthouse condo in the heart of Grace Bay
Carpe Diem Condominiums are nestled between Regent Village and Le Vele Plaza and across from Salt Mills Plaza. It is a boutique condominium with only 11 units and our penthouse encompasses the entire top floor. The condos have secure parking, nicely landscaped grounds, a private pool with lounging area and is walking distance to over 40 restaurants.
The location is perfect spot for many facets of your vacation: close to Grace Bay Beach; right beside a bicycle rental shop, down the street from car and scooter rentals, between two morning coffee shops, in the middle of the shopping district, a seven minute walk to Graceway Gourmet Grocery Store and close to many various bars and restaurants.
The penthouse has over 2500 square feet and contains three bedrooms and two baths. All bedrooms can be made into king beds. The overall living space and the deck space are what make this penthouse unique. The ceilings are over 25 feet high making the living and dining areas bright and airy. The penthouse has three decks with two of them being screened in and one open to the sun. They are located on the back of the building facing the ocean and not the street. The warm tropical breezes come through from back to front giving everyone that warm Caribbean feeling.
The penthouse is fully outfitted, has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, BBQ, laundry facilities, air conditioning, a master suite with dressing room and jetted tub, beach chairs and beach supplies, free WIFI, three TV’s with a VCR, a safe, and plenty of games and books.
Overall, this condo gives space, comfort, luxury, security, and privacy right in the middle of Grace Bay.
Since retiring in 2006, my husband and I have been searching for our ‘ideal’ winter getaway from the long cold winters in Atlantic Canada. We found that Turks and Caicos Islands as the best location for us to vacation since it has many convenient direct flights from Toronto and Montreal and the flight is less than 4 hours long. The weather is tropical, the language is English, the island has a low crime rate, the currency is US$ and the water is safe to drink. Once we decided on the ‘where’ we started looking for the ‘what’. We wanted a property that could be versatile, was close to grocery and restaurants, did not need the use of a car but had use of the amenities we look for when we holiday (beach access, pool, laundry, king beds, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and free internet access). The Carpe Diem Penthouse was almost too good to be true. Most locals do not know about it since it is such a small development (only 9 units) but recognize it when shown a picture since it is just opposite Salt Mills Plaza. Staying in the penthouse offers security, privacy, lots of deck space and an expansive floorplan since it occupies the entire top floor. The building was built by the same builders of some of the highest end resorts in Provo and we refurbished it to reflect the clean boutique hotel style we favour.
