This beautifully furnished holiday apartment with a size of 160m2 is situated in the luxurious 'Royal Palm Resort'.
The central and quiet location of the resort is a great location to enjoy your holiday on Curacao. From apartment and resort you can overview the Caribbean Sea
The apartment can accommodate 1-4 persons. It has 2 large bedrooms each with a 2-bed and access to a private bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink and shower. 1 bathroom has a bathtub.
There is also a 3rd guest toilet.
For children under 3 years is a cot and high chair available (no charge).
The large front porch has a large awning, from which you can overlook the Caribbean Sea and the beautiful landscaping of the resort.
On the smaller back porch is a gas grill and space for your clothes to dry.
The whole house is air conditioned.
Furthermore, the apartment is equipped with all luxuries / facilities like flat screen with audio, cable TV with several US and Dutch channels. There is also WIFI
The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and a double door fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven and microwave.
In addition, the apartment has a washing machine (Europees/220V) and dryer.
The Royal Palm Resort is a 24-hour secured resort. The apartment has an alarm system too.
The resort has a communal pool with a wooden deck and sun loungers with an exquisite view over the Caribbean sea and nature.
Directly outside the resort is a beach (200 meters of your stay). Beside the Royal Palm Resort are several hotels located including the Marriott, Hilton and Floris Suite. Several restaurants and a beach club (Pirate Bay) are within walking distance.
Around the resort is a popular walking / jogging trail. The 18-hole golf course at Blue Bay Curacao is located five minutes away by car.
The historic Willemstad can be reached within 5 minutes away by car.
We are Niek and Marije and together with our daughter and son we live and work on Aruba. We moved because Marije is a docter and now specializes to a general practitioner and unfortunately this was not possible on Curacao.
We have lived on Curacao with great pleasure and enjoyed the apartment, the resort and the island very much.

We are a family of four and stayed two weeks in the apartment. Everything was exactly as described, the place is furnished with style and attention to detail. Above all: it is meticulously clean. The appartment is spacious, both bedrooms have a bath-en-suite. In addition there is a large front porch where one can have breakfast, diner, and even barbecue (the apartment is equipped with a gas-powered grill). Planing was easy since the friendlyness of the owner Niek is outstanding: He promptly answered all of our emails, gave us many useful advices and allowed us to email a "shopping list" some days prior to our arrival. Thus the apartment manager Josette - a very nice and helpful lady - filled up the fridge with all the stuff we had asked for and awaited us in the apartment despite our late-evening arrival. There even was a bottle of wine as welcome gift! That was so nice! Josette was always available on the phone when necessary and checked several times if everything was ok. She also organized our taxi transfer back to the airport on a sunday at 03:00 a.m.
In summary we definetely recommend this appartment! It is a wonderful place. The only drawback is that there is only one mosquito net and you might need one unless you don't want to run the air condition the whole night. Royal Palm Resort is a quite, well-maintained and safe place. It has a nice swimming pool but for exploring Curacao's nice beaches, checking out the area or getting your groceries you will need a car. We followed Niek's suggestion, got the car delivered to our apartment and were very satisfied.

My fiancee and I were fortunate enough to stay here for our week vacation. I wondered if the place could really be as nice in person as it was in the pictures. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. We arrived at the gate in front of the complex and were informed where to go. When we pulled in, we were greeted by Josette who showed us around the place and gave us some very helpful tips about the island. Everything about the place was immaculate. With two bedrooms and two and a half baths, open kitchen and living room, comfortable beds, you really can't ask for more. Not to mention, the location is so convenient to the main attractions of the island. It is also just far enough away from downtown where you will have your own space and seclusion. I would definitely recommend a rental car. Some of the beaches are tough to find and only reached by gravel roads. There is a public beach right across the street as well as a private one with a couple of restaurant/bars located just next to the Hilton. We also enjoyed just sitting out on the terrace or by the pool. I want to thank Niek for responding to my countless emails. He was so helpful and made the rental process extremely easy. He even had a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge. Luckily for me, I proposed to my girlfriend on this vacation so we will be able to celebrate anniversaries at this wonderful place.
We stayed 3 weeks and had a wonderful time. The apartment is very well managed, stylish, clean, and well located for active holidays (scuba diving) at Curacao. Willemstad, Pirate Bay and Blue Bay (Diveversity) can be reached within minutes. The rental service was excellent. We highly recommend the apartment.
Zeer mooi onderhouden en ruim (plus 150 m2) appartement, gelegen aan de kustlijn van Curacao. Rustig en veilige omgeving, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!
This is a very nice apartment in a great location between Willemstad and the west-side beaches. Our daughters really enjoyed the swimming pool. I liked that the property was well-maintained and secure.Jossette, the manager, was kind and helpful.
A rental car is a must. We did encounter some mosquitoes but were well equipped with repellent. The low-deet family spray worked well, but I had to reapply often. We recommend il Forno for pizza and Landhuis Daniel for a nice dinner. We also enjoyed a nice meal at Pirate's Cove on the beach at sunset. This restaurant is close to the apartment. All the beaches we visited were great, but we recommend Cas Abou and Playa PortoMari.

the place is nice, super clean, well furnished and quiet. the beach is only 2 minute from the doorstep.
Jossette, the manager, is very kind and helpful. we had a very pleasant time with her drinking mojitos!
the neighbor has a amazonian parrot that talks and sings a lot !...even singing "happy birthday to you"....our daughter loved it!!
the resort is well located either to go to norther beaches or to Willemstad's downtown.
