The owners were a blessing to know and work with.

Beautiful location, clean, neat. The ocean views were amazing. The owners were a kind family and fixed dinner for me on my first night there. They made sure I had what I needed. The weather was rainy and cooler than expected and I did not get much sight seeing in but that’s ok because this was a business trip and I spent most of my time on my computer. Next trip will be more for pleasure and hopefully much warmer.

The Best Location with the best hosts

We had a wonderful time at Wendell's & Xinia apartment such wonderful hosts, wouldn't of wanted to stay anywhere else we will certainly miss all the chats and stories and the views from your garden. The apartment is conveniently close to Bus stops which makes it so easy to see all the island, which is so beautiful with its turquoise waters and white sand beaches its paradise. Hope to come back and visit you both in the future with our 3 girls.

Amazing location and a lovely family

We booked this property based on the location and previous reviews. We were not disappointed! Wendell was brilliant. Easy communication before we arrived and an informative overview of the property and island once we got there. There were no additional requirements we could think of (except for maybe a bit more sun🌞) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our chats with Wendell and his family. I would definitely recommend staying at this property and would definitely return if we were to visit Bermuda again.

Whispering Waves:great location and owner!

My husband and I played in the Bermuda Bridge Regional held at the Southampton Fairmont Hotel. The cost of the hotel was prohibitive, so we looked for alternative housing. We were so fortunate to find Whispering Waves. Wendell Simmons, the owner, met us at the airport and as we rode to the property told us all about Bermuda. The next day, he took us on a mini tour of the area, showed us how to get bus tickets and made sure that we were settled and comfortable. The bus stop is just outside the gate, and the location of the property is halfway between Hamilton and Dockyard where the America's Cup races will soon be held. Very convenient to get a bus and sightsee. The studio apartment is quite small, but is well provisioned with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There are plenty of thick towels, a tv and wifi, and use of a washer, . The only thing missing was a comfy chair. Unfortunately, the weather was cool and rainy, but Wendell graciously gave us a ride to the hotel during the poor weather. When I stumbled and broke two small bones in my foot, he loaned me a cane and carried us to the hotel every day. All in all, we loved staying at Whispering Waves, and made a new friend for life!!
