Faith was born and raised in Bermuda. Neil was born in England and moved to Bermuda over 17 years ago. We run three local businesses.
Faith & Neil purchased this apartment in 2012
We bought the house for the view. Forecaster's Cottage was built for the local forecaster. He picked this location for the vast views.
Location and views. Sit out on the porch and watch the boats come in and out of the harbour.
We had a wonderful time, the apartment was super comfortable and equipped with everything you might think of.
Thank you Faith and Neil!
We had a fabulous time in Bermuda! The house is beautiful, comfortable and clean. And the views from the patio are AMAZING! The house is in walking distance to catching the bus or ferry, the supermarket and center of town. A 15-20 minute walk will take you the beautiful Tobacco Bay beach- definitely worth the walk! Must see's in BDA: Dockyard, Gibbs Lighthouse, Crystal Caves, Horseshoe Bay, Hamilton, and you must eat at least once at the Swizzle Inn. Faith, thank you very much for keeping the house nicely stocked with all the necessities. Bermuda, We created amazing memories while on vacation :) We'll be back.
This home was perfect. Perfectly located, perfectly stocked with everything you might need and perfectly well- kept. We had no trouble walking into St. George or to the ferry or bus stop. We walked to the beach at Horseshoe Bay as well - it was a longer walk but picturesque.
The apartment offers a lovely view to watch the boats go by and had everything you might need for your stay. Clean and neat and centrally located to the town and transportation -perfect!
This property is amazing! The view from the patio even better than pictured! Faith is an excellent host providing everything you need to enjoy your stay including an umbrella and snorkeling gear to enjoy the beaches. If you are looking for a clean place with a great location look no further. Thank you Faith for an excellent week. We cannot wait to return!
Everything was just as advertised. The owner was friendly, easily reachable and helpful. We would definitely recommend this to others and would gladly return ourselves.
We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It's well located, a 5-minute walk to the village of St. George. The apartment itself is clean, well maintained and well stocked with supplies. It has items that you wouldn't normally associate with your average rental (e.g. a hairdryer, laundry detergent, extra soap, coffee pods, a Wii).
It is in a very quiet and friendly neighborhood with a semi-private porch for relaxing and enjoying the view.
I would recommend this property and nearby St. George to travelers who prefer to travel by foot exploring the village and nearby beach. We rented a scooter, which was very helpful, but also terrifying at times.
Bermuda was a bit more difficult to travel around than I expected, so don't expect to see the whole island in one visit. However, that being said, we highly recommend Bermuda and St. George. We stayed for five days, and that was just about perfect.
Visit Art Mels Spicy Dicy for their fabulous fish sandwich. Take a taxi, scooter, or walk to Tobacco Bay and St. Catherine's beach. Then, take a taxi or a bus to nearby St. David's to see Clearwater Beach, then walk another 1/4 of a mile into the nature reserve. You may have your own private beach.
