Overview

Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday home in Annapolis - Charles Street

2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)

When you come to Annapolis for a weekend, week or a few months, think about your choices. Stay in one of our fine hotel rooms. You can rent an available owners home and sleep in a room with Timmy's stuffed animals. Or, stay in a home that has recently undergone a total renovation from the inside out, designed with the discriminating visitor in mind.

When this home was renovated in 2008, no expense was spared to upgrade and decorate this house with every amenity. Cherry hardwood cabinets with stainless appliances and accents, granite countertops and glass block tile backsplashes makes this kitchen a gourmet chef's delight. And cozy too with heated tile floors! Open living area features hardwood floors, all new furniture and additional sleeping on a pull-out queen sleep sofa. Half bath and full washer/dryer on the main level. Upstairs are two bedrooms with full baths, one with a king bed and one with a queen. A private yard with patio and grill are the finishing touches on this well-appointed home, designed with your comfort in mind.

Parking is easy on this quiet one-way street. Arrangements can be made in advance for your parking passes, or they may be picked up from the City of Annapolis Offices, one block away.

Available for Commissioning Week 2017 for $5600, and for 2018 for $5800.

Booked for Commissioning Week 2015 and 2016

About Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua

I love doing house renovations, and have done several in the Historic Annapolis area! Rather than sell them, I like to renovate then rent them for short term rentals. You get to enjoy the benefits of a gorgeous new home in the heart of one of the most beautiful historic districts you will find!

Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua purchased this house in 2007

Why Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua chose Annapolis

I bought the property because it was a disaster! On the existing footprint, I was able to build a full new house on the interior while maintaining the historic character of the exterior.

Great house in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

The house is a beautiful, clean recently remodeled home, that is well stocked with anything needed for a great stay in Annapolis. Parking is easy on the street in front of the house and it is a short walk to Main Street shops and just as short a walk to the restaurants on West Street, so you won't need your car.

The owner was responsive and available to answer questions or if we needed something and helped make our visit stress free.

Wonderful Property in Historic District

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful month's vacation in the Charles Street property. The home was tastefully furnished and the kitchen was spectacular. It was especially appealing to be able to walk from the home to downtown Annapolis in just a few minutes. We would definitely recommend this property to others who wish to rent in the historic downtown Annapolis area.

Beautiful Renovation

  • 5 of 5

Excellent accommodation. The house has been completely remodeled and beautifully done. The owner lives 3 blocks away and was able to help us get extra chairs and table for a large dinner party, also very helpful with tips about Annapolis. Location is 2 blocks to downtown. Nice neighborhood. Would definitely stay at this house on all future Annapolis trips. Very nice.

A weekend getaway in Annapolis

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this lovely home for two nights. We were walking distance from downtown, which is exactly what we wanted. This home has been renovated and is beautiful inside. It is perfect for two couples or just one. There are two bedrooms. One has a full bed and the other a king. The bathrooms are beautifully done as well. It was the perfect location to enjoy an afternoon at the Naval Academy and an evening in downtown Annapolis.

Beautiful Home!

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a fantastic weekend in Annapolis, for my husband's USNA reunion. We stayed in the Charles St. house and it was just perfect! Aside from going out to get groceries upon arrival, we didn't need to use our car once the whole weekend - everything in downtown Annapolis is within easy walking distance. The house is a perfect blend of old Annapolis history and new, modern comforts inside. For two couples to share the house, we ended up paying just as much (or less!) as we would've to stay in an over-rated, cramped hotel room downtown. I highly recommend staying in one of the Annapolis homes!

Amazing Annapolis experience!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to Annapolis. My family (4 people) was in town for my sister's college graduation. Even though she was graduating from the University of Maryland, we decided to stay in Annapolis since we had heard good things. We had such a great time, and the trip would not have been the same had we stayed somewhere else. When looking for an amazing location for 4-6 people in Annapolis, look no further. This is literally a 3 minute walk to downtown and the US Naval Academy. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Everything was in good condition, and all appliances and amenities were new and high quality.
