Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in Anchorage - Raven' Roost
House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-12)
Ok,let me show you around. As you fly in on the jet on the right side of the plane when they tell you to fasten your seat belt, Look out the window and you will see my home. It's right there.
Ok, I have all of the stuff you will need. Yep good computer connection, Dish network tv with all the news channels etc. laundry, and all of the kitchen stuff.
There are three bedrooms and room for four people to sleep on a futon and a hideabed if you need more room for people,
The best is the setting. You do not have to leave the house to see the mountains, moose, and I have only seen one bear. There are eagles, rabbits, and smaller birds, and some fox, I have all of the cool nature stuff and the home is only ten minutes to downtown. My home is located on one of the only private airports in the Anchorage area. It is fun to see the airplanes coming and going. It is really not noisy. There are just twenty homes on my airport and we have very little air traffic.
The best is yet to come. From my home you have access to see all of Alaska. I have lived in Alaska for sixty years and I fly, and have seen and can tell you where to go and do the things you want to do.
I have a seven passenger van, and no it is not free (well what did you expect) It is super for groups getting around. I had twelve of my friends from Costa Rica come up and stay and tour and WOW! It knocked their socks off.
I can tell you where you can find any adventures you would want.
I have been a pilot for our Famous Iditarod dog sled race and have flown extensively throughout Alaska. Yes I fish and hunt, sight see, and all of the stuff you would want to do.
If I do not know something, I know someone that does. When you stay at my wonderful home, you get a great place, but you also have my sixty years of living and doing all of the Alaska adventures.
No I have not climbed the tallest mountain in America, but I have landed my plane on one of the glaciers on the tallest mountain on the north American continent. Big deal. Not really.
I do have a great contact with a flying service that can fly you around Mt McKinley and if you want to on a land on a glacier, they will.
I also have all of the flying, hunting, fishing, touring, bird watching etc. available that you might want. I know some of the best tours to take.
I can and will be more than happy to share my home and I can share Alaska with you.
From a business stand point, I have been a business owner, self-employed and am well connected. If you have business things that need to be done I can help there with business questions. If I do not know the person or persons you need to see, I know someone who does.
Come join me,make yourself at home, have a truly Alaskan adventure. Thanks Tony
