This spacious (66 sq m) recently decorated heart of Central London apartment provides enjoyable and comfortable accommodation. The property is in excellent condition and is offered fully furnished in a contemporary style.
The property is on the fifth floor (with lift) and is set out over one floor. There is woodstrip laminate flooring throughout and good natural light.
Two double bedrooms are at the rear of the building (so particularly quiet for sleeping) and overlook the local landmark, the impressive BT Tower. The master bedroom (2.89m x 4.19m) has a full ensuite with full-sized bath, shower unit, handbasin and WC. In addition, there is a good sized third bedroom (2.88m x 2.95m) with a single bed and a recently purchased Ikea sofa bed. Each bedroom is a light and bright room with a comfortable bed with Egyptian cotton sheets. External noise levels are low.
Off the hallway, there is a family bathroom with a full-sized bath, shower, handbasin and WC.
The hallway leads to the large living room, which has good quality furnishings, including two comfortable sofas, a large flat-screen TV, freeview, dining table and chairs. The large double-aspect picture windows overlook a pleasant tree-lined street.
The separate kitchen has a plenty of cupboard space and a full range of integrated appliances including dishwasher, washer/dryer and coffee machine. The separate fridge and freezer both have plenty of storage space. Kitchen utensils are provided.
This is great opportunity to stay in a smart, attractive property in a super and safe area. The apartment is in a secure, recently renovated, quiet block with 43 flats in Fitzrovia, W1, bordering Fitzroy Square.
Fitzrovia is in the heart of the West End. It's a super central location with a villagey feel and Georgian architecture. The area was once home to such writers as Virginia Woolf, George Bernard Shaw and Arthur Rimbaud. Today it is a popular and lively neighbourhood with a residential and business mix. The numerous media companies based in the area feed into a trendy and vibrant buzz. There is a good range of shops and a huge choice of delicious restaurants and bars.
Tourist London is easily accessible on foot or by tube. All Central London museums, including the British Museum, are a walk away. Warren Street, Euston Square, Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road tubes are close by. Regent’s Park, Covent Garden and Oxford Circus are within a 10-minute walk. The City is a 20 minute door-to-door tube journey.
Several supermarkets are close by (including a good Sainsburys, Tescos, Marks and Spencers Food Hall and Waitrose isn’t far)

The local area is buzzing but the flat is in a quiet street so you get the best of both worlds. There’s a huge array of bars and restaurants in the area, including in nearby Charlotte Street and neighboring Soho. For entertainment, you have Theatreland close by, numerous cinemas, comedy clubs, late night bars, dancing and nightclubs. If shopping appeals, you can shop til you drop in nearby Oxford Street, Regent Street, Covent Garden, Carnaby Street, Camden Market and Bond Street. They are all a walk away. For outside life, neighboring Fitzroy Square is a peaceful and pleasant place to enjoy a sandwich and watch the world go by. Alternatively, it’s a 10 minute walk to Regent’s Park, a wonderful 410-acre open space offering stylish gardens with cafés, rose and wildlife gardens, a boating lake, sports facilities, an open-air theatre and zoo.
All has gone well. We do NOT want to leave! We'll definitely keep the information about the flat for possible future visits.
The apartment was is in the perfect position for our group of 6. It was so easy to get around with several choices of subways close by.
The apartment itself was clean and exactly as described in the ads. The communications from the property manager were excellent which took a lot of the stress out for first time visitors to the Uk.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.
This is our second stay in this apartment and it's just as comfortable the second time around. It's not fancy but clean and very comfortable with three good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, ample living space ( considering we weren't there very much) and everything else you need for a short or long term stay. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby including a Tesco supermarket and Boots Pharmacy and it is within easy walking distance to Warren St and Goodge St underground stations which connect with pretty much everywhere you need to go in quick time. A short and inexpensive taxi ride will also get you to Leicester Square and the Theatre District which is only a couple of tube stops away. Liz at Lizard Property is fantastic to deal with . . .all communication is prompt and clear and we had our security bond refunded within a day of our departure. The only little problem is that the washing machine and dryer aren't very efficient so getting your laundry done can be a little time consuming. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to my friends and will definitely look to stay there again when next we visit London.

We stayed in this apartment 5 nights and found it to be the perfect answer to our needs in London. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms allowed my Grandson, my daughter and husband and myself to spread out and each have our own space. The apartment was exceptionally clean and in a location close to transportation, restaurants, grocery and drug stores. It was also walkable to many of the places we wished to go. If a return visit to London is ever possible I would certainly stay here again.
Our family of four just returned from 7 days in London. Liz's 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment in Fitzrovia was PERFECT for our family in every way. Roomy. Well appointed. Exceptionally clean. Super safe neighborhood. Incredibly close to transit, shopping, restaurants, etc. We were thrilled with our accommodations and highly recommend this apartment. Will definitely book with Lizard Property again for future visits. We arrived somewhat early in the day, but the apartment was ready for us--we were able to drop our luggage and hit the city! Also, check-out wasn't at the crack of dawn, which was nice. We didn't have to rush to be out super early. In all, a five star, quality experience. Thank you for everything, Liz!
