Located in Mission Lakes Country Club, our modern, 2100+ square foot, 4 bedroom, 3 bath house includes an optional 1 bedroom, 1 bath Casita (Sleeps 11 total) has been newly decorated and provides a modern, clean, comfortable and relaxing interior.
Relax in our very private back yard with over 2,000 sq ft of outdoor patio living amongst the surrounding lush landscape and mountain views. A granite fireplace, small golf putting green and open space add to the serenity of this quiet, nearly 1/4 acre cul-de-sac location. One of the most spacious and private back yards in Mission Lakes!
While our home has central heat and air, the fully integrated, entire house evaporative cooling system adds moisture as well to keep you cool and comfortable in the hot dry climate. The house features 9 ft ceilings and vaulted ceilings throughout with ceiling fans in every room.
PATIO fully wraps the back and one side of the house, including 500 square feet that is covered, giving you the ability to either chase the sun or hide from it...you choose. Enjoy the beautiful granite gas fireplace and a natural gas barbecue. For outdoor eating you have a 42' counter height patio table and four high swivel arm chairs. For outdoor relaxing you have a wicker living room coffee table with four padded chairs and two adjustable lounge chairs.
MASTER BEDROOM has a split King adjustable bed (two twin XL units with separate controls for head and feet lift as well as massage). There is a sitting area and a 37' Flat Screen TV plus a huge walk-in closet. The master bathroom has dual sinks, soaking tub and separate shower. You can access the fabulous patio area directly through a sliding glass door.
SECOND BEDROOM has split King (two twin XL units) and a bathroom right beside which has a tub/shower combo and large vanity.
THIRD BEDROOM/OFFICE has a full size Murphy bed, microfibre love seat, desk, 37' Flat Screen TV, DVD player and Chromecast streaming device.
LIVING ROOM has a microfibre sofa with a queen size pull out bed and a leather love seat and ottoman from which you can enjoy a new 55" flat screen SAMSUNG smart TV (old TV shown in pictures) with a DVD player and the gas fireplace.
FAMILY ROOM has an Olhausen regulation 8 ft slate pool table to hone your game and you can access the fabulous patio area directly through a sliding glass door.
KITCHEN is fully equipped with large French door style stainless steel refrigerator/freezer with ice maker and front dispensing capabilities, gas cook-top, double oven including convection, microwave, coffee-maker, dishwasher, double stainless sink, garbage disposal and plenty of counter space. Stocked Chef's Kitchen with professional cooking pots and pans, knives, utensils, place settings, glasses, silverware, and everything else you need to entertain up to ten. Enjoy a casual meal at the pub table or step out to the patio area directly through a sliding glass door and use the natural gas BBQ.
LAUNDRY has an extra capacity front loading washer and a gas dryer. There is also an iron and ironing board.
PRIVATE CASITA (optional) can be entered from the shared laundry room. It has a large soaking tub / shower combo and a separate dressing area. It has its own bar sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster/convection oven and coffee-maker. It is also equipped with kitchen essentials. Enjoy the queen adjustable bed, a love seat with a twin pull out and a 42' Flat Screen TV.
Our home sleeps up to 8 and up to 11 with the optional Casita. We can sleep up to 8 without sharing a bed or pull out with the optional Casita.

Mission Lakes Country Club's golf course and facilities have some of the most amazing views in the entire valley. It is a semi-private facility that is open to the public. It boasts a beautiful Ted Robinson designed championship course with its signature holes an amazing 1500 feet above the valley floor. The four finishing holes are considered to be the four toughest finishing holes in the desert. This is one of the best golf courses in the Valley but affordable to play. There is also a practice area. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or a casual drink at the Clubhouse restaurant, lounge or snack bar. The Clubhouse is adjacent to a large Riviera style swimming pool heated year round to 82 degrees and 2 spas. The pool ranges from 3 ft to 9 ft deep. Two tennis courts are not far away. A golf and tennis shop will facilitate any of these activities. Use of the golf course is not included in the rates. Use of the tennis courts, spas and pool facilities is included.
Desert Hot Springs is a desert oasis that is about 15 minutes away from beautiful Palm Springs and the Airport. Palm Springs is known for its dry, warm desert climate with annual temperatures during the winter averaging 75 degrees. It is the home of many famous health spas and celebrities. There are over 100 golf courses in the area.

We chose this home in Mission Lakes Country Club because it is quiet and private, yet has great spaces for entertaining. The Casita allows us to invite guests to stay with us and still maintain private spaces for all. Mission Lakes provides a peaceful setting and great golf without the high prices and yet is only minutes away from the shops, restaurants, casinos and action in Palm Springs. The more natural desert landscapes featured throughout the Country Club were more appealing than the meticulously over manicured, water consuming landscapes of many of the surrounding communities.
The comfortably furnished patio areas and fireplace provide endless outdoor relaxation and indoors, the pool table gets used almost every day. We enjoy spending romantic time alone and entertaining friends and family equally.

The house was clean, well stocked with kitchen appliances and basic needs like coffee spices, all dishes, pots and pans and utensils. The rooms were clean and incredibly comfortable. The pool table made for a fun evening with our family. The putting green in the backyard gave the perfect sunset golf lesson between a father and his youngest son. I honestly couldn't say enough nice things about how this was such an amazing place to make life long family memories. I'd highly recommend this to even a family larger than our five some of adults. We had plenty of common and private space. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy our time there. My sister-in-law was so blown away by the interior space that she wants to rent it to throw our cousin's bridal shower in the lovely, spacious back yard.

This holiday visit to Desert Hot Springs and the nearby Palm Desert area was our first. The house was in all respects, as advertised. It was all ready at the stated 'check in time,' it was clean and tidy and very well appointed. The very large outdoor patio included several sitting areas and was perfect for lounging in the afternoon sun. Communication with the owners re arrival procedures, access codes, phone numbers etc. check out was simple. The only complaint we had was our holiday wasn't long enough.
"The house is absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Our stay was very pleasant. The house was beautiful and CLEAN, which I appreciate SO much. We were able to take advantage of the outdoor fireplace one night. Also appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, platters, utensils. Everything you need to prepare a meal was there. Appliances were very nice too. Very quiet, safe neighborhood at the end of a court. We will be back!"
We rented this spacious and well maintained home in the Mission Lakes golf community for the months of February and March 2012. The home was everything that we could hope for in a vacation rental. The area of Mission Lakes is a quiet well maintained complex. The kitchen was easy to work in, the appliances top notch and we really enjoyed the fridge with the ice maker and water dispenser. The patio with the gas fireplace was used and enjoyed on those nights with little wind. The patio furniture was comfortable which enabled us to take advantage of the weather outside. The living room was comfortable with the fireplace taking the edge off on those cool evenings. The pool table was a nice touch for evening entertainment. Overall we had a wonderful time and would not hesitate in recommending this house to others.
We chose this lovely home as a gathering place for our family for Christmas. The house worked out really well for all of us - from the youngest (16) to the oldest (79). The owners have thought of just about everything and made the rental process very easy for us! We would definitely rent this house again.
We enjoyed a full week here in early April. The house, including the casita, provided more than adequate accommodations and space for our 3 families, including 4 young children and a baby. The kids brought outdoor toys to use on the huge backyard patio. Despite some cool windy weather for a couple of days, we used the clubhouse pool nearly every day. The pool is huge and the kids had a blast in the warm water. The area is very quiet. You don't hear any of the highway and city noises you hear in the Palm Springs-Palm Desert area. Also, this area has the best mountain views in the Palm Springs area. Everything worked well and we were pleased with the all of the appliances and amenities. The property was clean and well-maintained. Although we didn't use it, the 18 hole golf course is gorgeous and reasonable in price ($39 with cart on week days). We considered this rental a great value and highly recommend it.
