Sun granted. In the Urbanización roquetas de Mar we lease attractive apartments for couples and families (one wheelchair accessible) in our 2001 built 2 storey house. The house with a private swimming pool (5 x 10 m), is situated in a quiet location 480 m from the sea. The 30 km long sandy beach offers enough room for you even during high season. Roquetas de Mar, Almeria, is situated at the offshoots of the Sierra Nevada. Behind Almeria stands a solar power station in Europe’s largest desert. Only 3 km from the house is a 18-whole golf court! Not much further there is a water park for kids. Besides uncountable excursions you can take pleasure in many different sports at Roquetas, e. g. swimming, windsurfing, diving, open sea fishing, water ski, jet ski, miniature golf, tennis, hiking at the beach, horseback riding, cycling. The healthy climate helps many people to abate rheumatism and other diseases. Different allergies, e.g. hay fever, eczema can disappear here!

Excursions and culinary things: Excurion destinations: Besides Roquetas the natural reserve area begins. Here you can watch birds including flamingos. Almeria with 2-storey market hall, historical buildings and sights (Alcazaba), churches, shopping, culture, Mediterranean sea harbour, Nijar with attractive local pottery, knotted products, cloth or the Natural Park Cabo de Gata, San José with wonderful rocks and beaches, wild west village – set for different movies by Sergio Leone, marble bridge, Granada with Alhambra, ham productions in the mountains, Sierra Nevada with alpine ski resorts, mountain villages and lakes, Cuevas del Almanzora and caves. Ferries conduct daily between Almeria and Morocco, open sea fishing and boat trips with glass bottom boats, excursions to Malaga and so on and so on. Dining is very various. Especially in the typical Spanish taverns the fresh fish tastes unforgettably good. The Tapas-Bars are also worth a visit.

Roquetas de Mar and sport: In and around roquetas there is a wide offer of different sports e. g. swimming in the brand new indoor pool, windsurfing, diving, open sea fishing, waterski, jet ski, miniature golf, tennis, hiking at the beach, (Nordic) Walking, horseback riding, cycling, mountainbiking. By the way: Almeria hosted Mediterranean Sea Competitions in July 2005. Children and water fools can have fun in the water park approx. 4 km away.

Sun granted…For couples and families we lease this nice and practically furnished 2-room-apartment on the first floor of our 2001 newly built house. The apartment does not lack anything and you have your own sun terrace of 35 m². The house is located in quiet location almost 500 m from the sea and has a great swimming pool (5 x 10 m that invites to swim and play all day. The long sandy beach 830 km!) offers enough room for you even during high season.

Super angenehmbares Klima-Urlaub

Das Haus "Casa Stecha" ist was besonderes, hervorzuheben ist das große Pool, reichlich viel Platz um das Haus. Innen und aussen sehr sauber. Zweimal die Woche kommt der freundliche Gärtner für die Aussenanlage. Für Probleme im und am Haus kümmert die Hausverwalterin bestens. In der Urbanizacion Roquetas de Mar kann man sehr viel unternehmen, auch ohne Auto. Mit dem Auto ist es ratsam, da man die gute Umgebung sehen sollte. Es gibt sehr viele schöne Strände entlang der Küste. Auch Veranstaltungen und Basare, etc.in näheren Umgebungen sollte man mit dem Auto anfahren. Essen und trinken ist dort sehr günstig. Das Klima ist dort sehr angenehm (26° - 35°).Wir werden das Haus weiter empfehlen, auch für Familien mit Kinder ist das zu empfehlen. Alles in allem war das ein schöner, gelungender Urlaub, wo man sich sehr erholen kann.

Dank an den Vermieter

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter, die gerade selbst Urlaub machten. Die mit der Reinigung der FW beauftragte Verwaltung hatte allerdings einiges übersehen. Deshalb können wir leider nicht in den allgemeinen Lobgesang der anderen Bewertungen in punkto Sauberkeit einstimmen - die Vermieter haben unsere Hinweise dankend entgegengenommen, man kann also davon ausgehen, dass sich dies nicht wiederholen wird.
Die Lage rundum ist gut, alles ist leicht zu erreichen. Wer Strandurlaub mag, ist dort gut aufgehoben. Für Ausflüge gibt es viele Hinweise, die von den Vermietern für ihre Gäste zusammengetragen wurden.
Uns war es nachts mit 26 Grad Schlafzimmertemperatur trotz Dauerbetrieb des Deckenventilators zu warm, aber das empfindet jeder anders. Ruhige Lage mit einer sehr schönen Terasse.
Vielen Dank nochmals an die Vermieter.

Das Apartment war optimal ausgestattet in allen Bereichen. Sehr sauber und ruhig. Auf der Terrasse findet man immer einen windgeschützten Platz.
Luxus pur ist der Swimmingpool.
Das Haus befindet sich in einer kultivierten Urbanisation und zum Meer sind es wenige Minuten.

Erich Deutschland: NOTE 1 mit Stern!

Bereits zum zweiten Mal in der sehr gepflegten Ferienwohnung CASA STECHA mit Klasse Swimmingpool in einem äußerst schönen und ruhigen Wohngebiet in Roquetas de Mar haben wir uns ganz besonders wohl gefühlt und phantastisch erholt! Unsere Erwartungen wurden beide Male übertroffen. Die Beschreibungen und Fotos treffen exakt zu. Die riesige Terasse ist besonders erwähnenswert. Wir wurden durch Familie Pieren bestens vorbereitet und hervorragend betreut. Dieses Feriendomizil haben wir allen unseren Freunden und Bekannten weiterempfohlen! Auch Preis-Leistung = TOP!
Mit einem Mietwagen zu erschwinglichen Preisen über das Internet gebucht, ist man vom Flughafen in Malaga in ca. 2 1/2 Stunden in Roquetas de Mar und stets flexibel.
Der in ca. 450 m Entfernung erreichbare Strand ist sehr sauber, es gibt viel Platz. Sonne ist garantiert und durch eine leichte Brise sind auch Temperaturen um 30 Grad gut erträglich. Nach dem Abendesssen in der Ferienwohnung oder in einem der guten und dennoch preiswerten Restaurants in der ersten Reihe, direkt am Meer, kann man Kilometerlang an der geschmackvoll angelegten und abends beleuchteten Strandpromenade ausgedehnt spazieren oder radfahren gehen. Auch für sportliche Aktivitäten gibt es genügend Angebote. Zigeunermärkte in oder um Roquetas sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Eine Visite in Almeria - ca. 25 km nordöstlich - mit Einkauf auf dem Markt, Shopping in der City und ebenso in Almerimar - ca. 25 km südwestlich - mit seinen unzähligen Segel- und Motorbooten, sind Pflicht.
Knapp 2 Stunden Autofahrt über die Autobahn bis Grananda in der Sierra Newada, unbedingt einplanen, mit Besuch der Alhambra und der Kathedrale, ebenso den Einkaufsbummel in den vielen netten Geschäften.
Ein besonderes Erlebnis ist die Sonnwendfeier so um den 20.-24. Juni jedes Jahr. An diesem Abend ist für die Spanier am Strand Volksfeststimmung für alt und jung. Mit Holzpaletten und anderem brennbarem Material wird ab der Dämmerung "gefeuert", bei Grill und Musik, bis in den frühen Morgen! (La fiesta de San Juan - Geburtstag von Johannes dem Täufer)

Wir waren leider nur 1 Woche in diesem schönen Haus - hat sich aber gelohnt - Wohnung/Anlage und Pool sauber und einladend - sehr ruhig gelegen und man konnte wirklich alles zu Fuß erreichen. Alles im allen ´SEHR EMPFEHLENSWERT´

This friendly, inviting and very well-manicured holiday resort is called Urbanización Roquetas de Mar and is located 2 km from the original fishing village of Roquetas de Mar, close to the offshoots of the Sierra Nevada (3500 meters above sea level). At clear days you can even see the snow. The town is very well developed in respect of tourism – without skyscrapers. You live in the quiet chalet-quarter. Daily the beach is cleaned and manicured. Along the beach is stretched a 15 km long promenade – a dream for a long walk or jogging. The main city, Roquetas, has a fishing and sporting marina, as well as uncountable shops. Who wants to enjoy night or cultural life, can profit of many free events and cosy restaurants. In the market hall you can by fresh fish and vegetables every day. In 2002 a new bullfighting arena was built. It regularly hosts concerts. To the first of several 18-whole golf courts of the region it is 3 km! Fitness clubs and tennis courts are available also.

Golf: 3 golf courts are located in the area (5 to 25 minutes). Inexpensive and with different topographies and difficulty. Also for demanding payers a challenge.

Ski: The nearest skiing area is the Sierra Nevada, which has the town of Granada to its foot. Driving time by car are approx. 2.2 hours. The mountain peak of this large and varied skiing area goes up to 3,500 meters above sea level. The Sierra Nevada is a modern winter sport area popular for world cup skiing and other championships and also a grant for snow.

The kitchen is well equipped with coffee machine and everything needed. The electric stove with ceramic stove top has 4 tops. The swimming pool 5 x 10 m is only used by the house’s guests. Swimming pool and garden are manicured twice a week by the gardener. Garage on request. The German administration-couple lives nearby and will be happy to give you advice on demand. Shopping facilities are in the close surrounding (200 m) easily accessbile by foot. A car is not necessary. Bedclothes as well as kitchen and bathroom towels are present. Clothes: 8 € per person and change; final cleaning 26 €. For long-time-guests there is a washing machine, an iron board and an iron available. In winter the house is heated individually by electric or gas furnace.
