This is a studio unit with one king bed and a twin size sofa bed, kitchenette ,and lanai at the Island Colony. W32757806-01.

Island Colony is located in the heart of Waikiki. Close to everything; world famous Waikiki beach, world class shopping, romantic dining and dancing.

We offer a wide variety of units within this property: studios with kitchenettes; one bedroom/one bath units with full kitchens; all with lanais; some with views of the ocean or Ala Wai canal; a wide variety of sleeping arrangements, just let us know your preferences.

Amenities:

The large pool and sundeck are located on the sixth floor along with a convenience store, coin-op laundry, and sauna. There is public parking in the building for aprx. $18.00 per night. Long term parking is available monthly at reduced rates, aprx $135. A car rental agency, video rental store ,and internet cafe are located on the ground floor.

The bus stops within a block from the property and offers transportation to the beach, local attractions, Pearl Harbor, Ala Moana Shopping Center, the Aloha Flea Market, Aloha Marketplace, Hanauma Bay, as well as trips around the Island.

A bit of a Dissapointment

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was more than happy with the location.
The vacation rental was very clean.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Were a bit disapointed as not told about pool till arrival would have liked to been informed sooner so as we could find somewhere else with one. Not advised when arrived water was off & when back on had a terrible time with shower which was finally fixed. Kitchen very cramped and on a whole nothing like the pictures we viewed. Airconditioner very noisy only plus at least the TV was in english

Aloooooha!
We have just arrived home after phenomenal 14 days in paradise....After adjusting to the initial shock of staying on 35 floor of 49 or some floor building, we entered in very cosy and very clean studio that had everything we needed for our fantastic vocation. We entered into small kitchenette area that had full size fridge, sink , microwave , toaster , toaster oven, cattle, coffee maker (with coffee and tea for first morning) and counter top range we ordered in advance (25$ one time fee as studio does not come with stove or stove top ). Kitchenette had all necessary dishes and cookware( all in good shape), salt, pepper, olive oil and dish soap . Bathroom had one full set and few extra towels . you need to bring or buy beach towels, shampoo and soap. Bed was big, comfortable, clean . sheets were plenty enough for cover at night. Balcony provided the most spectacular view of Honolulu.....Ala Wai / canal, mountains to right, ocean to left, and looking forward were tops of other Honolulu buildings and spectacular view of Friday night fireworks.One word PHENOMENAL VIEW worth every penny. Balcony had table,chairs, lamp, two beach chairs and short board. Building had security guard so you had to have key to get inside the building, elevators were quick in each direction. Building has small store were you can buy many things if you do not want to go to bigger stores. Pool,BBQes, coin laundry,gym were available on 6th floor but we did not spend any time there as beaches are what we like....we meet with Gerry or Jerry who provided us with the keys and basic instructions. We did not have any issues that required us to call him again so it was sweet and short meet with him. Overall we LOVED IT!!! We are going to try and get to the same place next time we go to PARADISE! Only issue was PARKING! 25 $ per day but if you are lucky as we were you can park along Ala Wai street for free. Make sure you move your car on Friday and Monday at 8:30.
