This vacation property is a fisherman's paradise. Three private ponds are abundant with large-mouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish. All ponds boast easy access from the entire shoreline. The largest pond has its own pier and is a short walk from the back-door. Use the on-site paddle boat or rent a larger boat one mile from the property.
This new home has every convenience to make your stay carefree. The open floor plan features a large kitchen, adjoining great room with 22 ft. windows, beautiful 2-story fireplace, and large plasma T.V. The open loft and upstairs bedroom gives a lodge-like appearance, while the downstairs bedroom is next to an open recreation room with pool table, table tennis, and bar. The master bedroom is just off an extensive library, packed with numerous books for hours of reading.
Just want to relax away the hustle and bustle of city life? The large wrap-around deck overlooks acres of amazing beauty. Meander around 26 acres of well-kept grounds and keep an eye out for deer or wild turkey. Add variety by fishing some of the 120 lakes in Greene-Sullivan State Forest, all within a 10 minute drive. Most have boat ramps, two within 1/2 mi of the property.
Want to combine hunting and fishing? The State Forest has several areas where hunting is allowed. Bag fox, coyote, raccoon, turkey, squirrel, deer, pheasant, quail and rabbits in their specific seasons (go to the Indiana department of national resources web site for season dates).
Everywhere you look, this quiet retreat beckons you to fish, hunt, hike and relax with nature! Come ... your paradise awaits.

This rental has been my home for five years. I now work and live in Louisville, KY much of the time. So, even though I do go back and stay at this property, I have decided to allow renters to experience true country life with abundant fishing opportunities.
Very little noise other than wild-life. Wild-life is abundant and can be often seen on the property. The house looks out over the bulk of the 111 acres. At night, the stars can be easily seen, as there are no surrounding lights. There is a pier to fish or swim from. I keep 26 acres mowed and well-kept, so strolling around the property is very easy and relaxing. There are raspberries and blackberries all around the property in their season. Mushrooms can be found in the spring. In the heat of summer, one can relax on a large concrete patio shaded by the wrap-around deck above.
