Fully furnished, single level condo is located in the Augusta Villa neighborhood of the popular Plantaxxxx Golf &Country Club community in the charming city of Venice FL.(See walk thru video of Villa located in the pictures.)

This is a one level condo making it ideal if you have limited mobility or just don't like doing stairs. This ideal location is just a short car ride of 10 to 15 minutes from the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.

Venice is situated just south of Sarasota and north of Fort Myers. Nearby Venice Island boasts fabulous shopping, restaurants and art galleries and there are numerous public golf courses within a 5-to-15-minute drive. You'll never be at loss for things to do.

This beautifully furnished newly updated 2021 in villa features an open design with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a walk in closet and an on suite bathroom, beautifully newly remodeled with a walk in shower.

There is a full eat in kitchen renovated in 2021 with new cabinets, tile floors, granite countertops, newer appliances, a living room and dining area with a formal dining table. The living room is tastefully decorated, Florida style, a comfy recliners and 3 cushion sofa, and has a leather couch that unfolds into a queen bed. There is a large Flat Screen TV and Blu-ray player with HD Cable DVR and high speed internet service.

The sanctuary of the lanai offers a great golf course view, the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, coffee or just relaxing with your favorite beverage.

The Villa includes a nice sized kitchen with all standard appliances and is fully equipped with all the necessities to make and enjoy your favorite meals right at home. There is a fully stocked linen closet with bath and beach towels, linens as well as a washer and dryer. Nearby heated pool overlooks the golf course and provides the perfect, secluded location to relax and enjoy the beautiful Venice sun (pool for Augusta Villa resident and guest use only).

Unlike many of the Florida Gulf Beach communities, Venice has several public beaches with concessions, changing and shower areas and free parking literally across the street from the beach. We love lodging at the beach, but don't like the high rent associated with it. In Venice, it's easy to drive, park and walk across the street with chairs, coolers and towels.

Well located

Enjoyed our stay, it was a good location for beaches, restaurants and golf courses. The accommodation was nicely decorated and furnished and very comfortable. Accessing the swimming was a little complicated as it was further away than we imagined it would be and too far to walk in the heat, although not high on our priorities anyway.

Surpassed our expectations. Great Location close to all amenities. Home was exceptionally clean and carried all that was required. First Class communications @ all times by Owner who just wanted to ensure our vacation was as we wished. We loved it so much we have already made a reservation for next year. Cannot say more than THAT!

Best vacation rental in Florida !

Thank you Lori & Jim!! My husband & I loved your beautiful home. First time renting from you and already planning on when we can return. Location was perfect!! Easy15 minuet drive to world famous Caspersen beach or Manasota key to look for shark teeth was so much fun. Everything you could possibly need for a perfect worry-free vacation Lori and Jim had you covered. Lovely quiet neighborhood, easy access to shopping and restaurants nearby. Friendly neighbors. Looking forward to returning.

An Augusta Peach of a villa

Jim had been fantastic in updating us about the Augusta Villas neighbourhood following Hurricane Ian and how it might affect our November stay. On arrival the amount of felled trees and collected greenery made us sad for the residents some whose homes had been damaged. Jim had had his garden cleared and the house looked good. Inside it was better than the photographs show. It is so spacious, well furnished and very comfortable. The lanai was our favourite place to eat and the back patio has afternoon sun and great views of the golf course (members only). Jim kept in contact to ensure that we were ok, particularly as later tropical storm Nicole passed North of us, but only causing minor local flooding. There is a very pleasant pool area for residents and Manasota beach is close by. All shops and amenities are close by so eating in or out is simple. We really enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave. I cannot recommend Jim and Lauries villa highly enough. You will NOT be disappointed.

Hi, we are Jim and Lori Larsen. We are Midwesterners and have traveled to the Gulf Coast of Florida with our kids from the time they were born. We absolutely love Florida's beauty, the lifestyle, and the GOLF!!! We made our first trip to Venice in February 2010, and feel we discovered one of Florida's best kept secrets. Venice is unlike the typical 'beach towns' we've been to. We love the laid-back friendly atmosphere, the 'old Florida' coastline. It's not built up with condo's, hotels, and convenience stores, and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico is only 10 minutes away. Did I mention anything about golf? The courses I've played in Venice, 3 of them within 15 minutes of our place are absolutely fabulous!

Anyway, we purchased our Florida home with the idea of when we are able to retire making it our seasonal home. We worked really hard to furnish our place to make it feel like a home. We really hope that if you've never been to Venice, that you give it a try, and if you need a place to stay, I'm sure you'll like our Plantation Golf and Country Club, Augusta Villa home!

We chose to purchase our Augusta Villa home for a number of reasons. First and foremost was because of our neighbors. They welcomed us from the first time we walked the neigborhood trying to get a feel for Venice. Several welcomed us into their homes so we could get decorating ideas!
The other reasons were for the proximity to gulf beaches and golf courses, resturants and shopping areas.

What makes this property unique

As the owner, I feel it's my responsibility to make sure that our guests have a relaxing, stress free experience while staying at our Venice FL home. This home is well built and well maintained, but with all the appliances and other infrastructure, things can and do go wrong. I have an excellent support group on the grounds to help out when issues happen. If you read some of the reviews, many of them mention the attention to I pay to make sure that you will enjoy your stay here.
