This is a spacious 5 bedroom family home, minutes from Hampstead Heath, which can accommodate up to 8 guests.
At the back of the house is a spacious open plan kitchen and dining area. Large glass dors open onto the garden and flood the room with natural light. The kitchen has beech wood finish and is equipped with everything a family would need; hob, integrated oven and microwave, American-style fridge/freezer and coffee maker. The property also benefit from a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The living room has plenty of sitting space with 2 sofas and an extra single chair. There are also two desks in the room along with a piano for any budding musicians! Lots of wood furnishings give this home a traditional feel.
This home has 5 bedrooms. At the top of the house the master bedroom has its own floor with en suite. The room is bright and airy with windows on opposite walls, a very comfortable Tempur mattress, a comfortable chair in the corner and a dressing table.
The second bedroom, situated on the first floor, has a double bed also with Tempur mattress and plenty of storage. The third bedroom is large and has a single bed with an extra mattress underneath for an extra guest. The room also has a sofa and a desk with a computer.
The fourth bedroom has a single bed, as does the fifth bedroom.
The family bathroom is located on the first floor and is stylishly decorated with white and grey tones with a modern feel. There is a bath tub, walk in shower and heated towel rail. Downstairs, on the ground floor there is a separate toilet.
The property also benefits from a terrace on the second floor leading out from the landing as well as the garden below.
For walks and outdoor fun, you can’t beat Hampstead Heath which is at the end of the road and can be accessed by the foot-bridge. Guests can walk to Hampstead village in 15 minutes, and those keen on sport can play tennis here in one of the public courts. Kenwood House, a former stately house managed by English Heritage is worth a visit and a number of open-air concerts are held in the grounds nearby. This home borders the south end of the Heath which is particularly good for families with a lido, playground and paddling pool. Belsize Park Village is a 7 minute walk and is a great place to shop for food or a place to stop at your local restaurant or café. The South End Green area is just 5 minutes away and is loved by locals for its independent shops, ranging from bakeries to Italian delis and restaurants.
For exploring other parts of London, you’re well connected at either Kentish Town or Belsize Park Undergrounds (Northern line), either no more than a 10 minute walk. The Hampstead Heath or Gospel Oak Overground stations are about a 5 minute walk and are great for taking you further west, as far as Kew Gardens and Richmond. Camden Town is just a 25 minute walk, 10 minute bus ride or 5 minute tube journey away where you will find the famous Camden Market. And, for guests thinking ahead to the Olympics, just a 28 minute journey will take you from Gospel Oak Overground to the Olympic Village in Stratford! There is also a bus stop about 200 metres away with handy links to Central London.
The property is perfect for cat lovers as there is a very friendly permanent resident by the name of Roary (the cat). Roary will be taken care of by the cleaner.
This is a wonderfully bright and spacious home which is perfect for large families needing a spacious and adaptable space and for a group of grown-ups alike. It’s in a desirable part of London and easy access to Hampstead Heath and the surrounding neighbourhood, as well as excellent transport links, make it even more attractive for your London stay!
This was a really spacious, comfortable family home- just perfect for our needs. Our three children loved their bedrooms since there were so many toys for them and there was a garden for them to run about in. It was well-equipped and I loved the big free-standing bath for a bit of relaxation in the evenings! I would definitely recommend it.
