Large extended 3 bedroom house in Sutton, Greater London, sleeps up to 8 People. Full kitchen with fridge freezer, washer/Dryer, oven, hob pots, pans, kettle , cutlery etc. All kitchenware, dinnerware, bed linen and towels provided. Free wifi and freeparking. The first bedroom has a double bed, the 2nd has two single beds, and the third has a single bed. The living room has two sofabeds that can each sleep two people and has a satellite TV and a fireplace. There is a Garden to the rear of the house.

Sutton is a historic suburb that dates back to 1066A.D. with lots of places of interest like pubs, restaurants and a leisure center. Craggy Island Climbing and Caving center, Chessington World of adventures, David Lloyd bowling, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis club, etc are only a few miles away. Local transport takes you to all the attractions of Central London and Gatwick and Heathrow Airports. It's a 24 hour self check-in, with the key in a safe by the front door.

Worked OK for us

Our family of seven stayed here for a week to visit London and surrounding area. We booked it at the last minute when another arrangement fell through.

On the plus side, it was easy to get to driving from Dover. The public transportation to central London was not bad (bus stop near the apartment, 10 minute bus ride to Morden underground station in zone 4, then 30-40 min to most sights in London via the tube). There was a small grocery right around the corner and it also had a well equipped kitchen. The apartment was relatively clean. There are numerous restaurants between the apartment and the tube station, many within walking distance.

We had a little trouble with the appliances and the apartment remained pretty cold. You can also clearly hear the neighbors in adjoining houses. Those things were an annoyance more than anything, it did not ruin our vacation by any means.

The owners are very hands off (we did not meet them or hear from them, except us calling on the day of our arrival). The keys are in a lock box on the premises and it's self checkin-checkout. At the time there was no welcome information like we usually find in Home-away rentals apartment, so you're pretty much on your own. That can be good or bad depending on your perspective.

Owner's Response: We send by email to our guest before they arrive a check in and key information as well as a map of the area surrounding the apartment that includes information like taxi phone numbers, wifi password, directions to the flat from several airports, train, bustops, grocery shops etc. close to the apartment, website address of places to visit, several of our contact numbers etc. We wish the guest had called us during their stay to let us know they were having problems turning on the heating or any of the appliances so that we would have gone there to help them.
