Our quiet and renovated (2015) apartment is located in the heart of Cannes at 19, rue des Etats-Unis (2nd floor, elevator after 1 flight of stairs !), between rue d'Antibes and La Croisette (the famous seafront promenade), just across from Hotel Gray d'Albion.

A slow 5 min. walk to Palais des Festivals.

Ideal location to attend one of the annual 280 conventions.

French and Danish TV are some of our regular guests !

Shopping, shopping, shopping!

Oh dear ! The shopping is right outside of your door on rue d'Antibes (the main shopping

street)and then, of course, you have La Croisette and all of the stores that will eat your

credit card for a snack ! If you can't buy - it sure is fun to shop !

Some distances :

Saint Tropez : 1 h by car, 1 1/2 h by boat (really nice trip !)

Monte-Carlo : 45 min. by car

Nice : 25 min. by car

Paris : 5 h by high speed train TGV

Italy : 1 h by car

Tempted to see the stars ? The film festival takes place in May since 64 years and it's right outside the door !

We are a retired Swiss couple (Klaus was a banker and Nadine a beautician). After travelling and working in many countries we have

chosen Cannes, a small but international 'fun city' for our retirement. Our goal is to provide a warm and efficient welcome to all our guests.

Cannes, in our opinion is one of the best retirement places in the world.

We consider rue des Etats-Unis as one of the nicest and quiet streets downtown.

Provencal market, boutiques, beach, Palais des Festivals, Croisette, cinema tour

train.....all are just outside !

The perfect place

I have been visiting Cannes for more than 10 years and finally found an apartment that suited all my needs. This flat is just steps to everything (Palais, beach restaurants) and is equipped with all the amenities I like when away from home. The view from the balcony is beautiful. The flat is located in a building that is well maintained and spotless. Klaus and Nadine are extremely gracious and helpful hosts and Klaus went out of his way to help me retrieve my delayed luggage.

Best vacation ever!!

To tell the truth initially I was not very interested in visiting Cannes but since meeting Klaus and Nadine and staying at their beautiful apartment only steps away from the sea as well as ideally located for dining and shopping ….Cannes is now my favorite destination in Europe.

Not only is the apartment centrally located but well-appointed and immaculate. Nothing however surpasses the hospitality of Klaus and Nadine. They made our trip a fantastic adventure. One I am sure we will repeat again and again.

sehr empfehlenswerte Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben in einem Top Zustand!

Die Einrichtung ist auf dem neusten Stand und es ist nicht weit zum Strand.

Die Lage könnte wirklich kaum besser sein; einerseits 2 Gehminuten zum öffentlichen Strand sowie 2 Gehminuten in die Gegenrichtung zum Markt und den zahlreichen Boutiquen.

Obendrauf eine stille Lage!

Als Bonus hat man dann noch ein wundervolles Vermieterehepaar, das auch die Deutsche Sprache beherrscht und sehr um das eigene Wohl bemüht ist.

Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung demnach sehr, ohnehin weil Cannes einen Besuch wert ist.

Just GREAT!

The other reviewers have said it all, and it's all still true! Klaus is a very generous and kind host, and met us (two males staying for a week) at the Cannes RR station to take us to the apartment. He also happened to be heading to the Nice airport about the same time we were leaving at the end of our stay, and he kindly offered to take us there! Few apartment owners have been so considerate!

The place is spacious, clean, easy to use, and very comfortable. The one strange thing is that you have to leave the kitchen to get to the cabinets that store all the glasses and plates. Klaus recognizes this as a drawback and he plans to redo the kitchen this winter!

The place is safe, quiet, and a three minute walk to the wonderful beach along the Croisette. I could not recommend it more highly.

Perfect location, and such a nice flat !

Perfect location in Cannes, all you need is less than 5' by walk ! Nice flat, 2 nice bedrooms, convenient kitchen, 2 nice bathrooms and all very clean and very quiet (quite a challenge in central Cannes !). Plus very nice owners, willing to help / welcome in the perfect way. Perfect deal, do not search any longer, this is the place you need !

Great location and beautiful place

This house was perfectly located and very clean and orderly! The owner was willing to meet us very late at night from our flight from San Francisco and had a big smile and a willingness to make sure we were comfortable and secure. When you walk out of the building, you are a half a block away from the primary shopping and a half a block the other direction, you are on the world famous Croissette with world famous shops and the incredible Riviera. I plan to check here first for all of my travels to South France! Thank you for the hospitality and amenities!
