We love going to the Ocean-View Golf-Front Cap Cana Oasis Villa with our family and friends. We average about 12 weeks annually at the villa with our three young girls. Accordingly, it is maintained and upgraded as custom HomeAway from home, second-home; rather than a mere rental property. We often fantasize about relocating from the Hamptons' to Punta Cana. We know the resort and area very well.
Gary Bierfriend purchased this villa in 2008
It's the Pebble Beach of the Caribbean but much easier to get to with more reliable weather :) ... The flights from NY are 3 1/2 hours and the resort is ten minutes from the airport. The convenience of being in the Caribbean in a pristine area is incredible. We are overlooking Jack Nicklaus' 'Signature' Punta Espada trademark Bear Paw Hole (7th Green) with Ocean views on the horizon. It's a quick five minute scoot over to the private beach club on our fun golf cart in which our eldest little daughter drives us. The staff is wonderful and the weather is great year-round.

NICE HOUSE SERENE HOUSE 100 LAS PALMAS WOW! AN ABSOLUTE VISUAL DELIGHT!
From the moment you enter the driveway you just know your eyes are in for a real treat!! We were greeted by LUZ and Chef Danielle with a tray of piña coladas and chips and salsa and platters of fresh fruit Alejandro is a gem. He runs the place like clockwork. Love your place. This is inspired design. Love the details, the soaring ceilings, the porch, the windows, the pool, the thatched rooftops, the breeze, the views& I could go on and on.,,,....
your home is a pleasure! Thank you! Teri
Wonderful house. Great nooks for quiet reading or gathering. We lived out on the gazebo & dined there every night. The staff was outstanding but communicating without knowing basic Spanish was sketchy. The property manager checked in twice a day & did our grocery shopping for a fee. A necessity since there were no rental cars available & the only means of getting around the 4 person golf cart or car service. We had a minor issue with items on receipts that we hadn’t asked for or used which was resolved. The furnishings were tasteful and comfortable but needed some TLC to refresh them. Bed pillows were a mixed bag. Cushions had sagged & were worn on the living room couch & some outdoor chairs. A huge stain on the rug in the bunk bedroom was unattractive to see. The “full” beds in that room are more like 3/4 beds & very short. Outdoor cushions on the gazebo & lounge chairs needed cleaning or replacing from stains, cigarette holes or bird droppings that were never cleaned off. Although each morning toss pillows outside were straightened out, the debris behind them remained. The house itself needed attention. Roof tiles were missing & not replaced until several days into our stay when we pointed them out. It was clear no one had noticed or cared. Mildewed wood framing under the roofline needed power washing & invited a woodpecker to pick away at it each morning. Two long metal wands for the gazebo shades were very rusty. Hot tub tiles were missing or on the bottom. We frequently stubbed our toes on a raised deck board in the gazebo and an outlet cover on the floor that had once been glued down. Looking back at the photo gallery, it became clear the photos were dated. The “panoramic” ocean view is now blocked by vegetation & new houses. While the house is a great spot for large groups who want to do nothing but hang out together, it’s quite remote but for a couple of hotels a 10-15 minute golf cart ride away, the expensive golf course & the Carleton Beach which you had to pay to use. A car trip to the all-inclusive resorts was pricey & the access was only for their guests. The Golden Bear Lodge was a ghost town & the spa permanently closed. The property manager said the caves had mosquitos. The zip-lining was over boring terrain. The weather was fabulous & we made our own fun; but as frequenters of the Four Seasons and Rosewood resorts, the high bar they set was, to our great disappointment, not matched by this home or its desolate location.
First off Gary, the owner of the beautiful Cap Cana property, was very easy to connect with and made the process of arranging a stay for 17 people completely seamless including payment/invoicing.
Not only is the property situated in a great area that is close to the airport but the staff is really first-class. From Alejandro helping arrange groceries and excellent meals to Miguel & Luz being the sweetest in making sure everyone was well taken care of.
The communal area allowed for plenty of space for different areas to hang while the dining room more than accommodated our group.
I highly suggest to hire the chef. He was unreal and very much catered to all dietary restrictions while doing it all with a smile and fun tunes.
Thank you again Gary! I look forward to visiting your home again as one of the best experiences in my 12+ VRBO stays around the world.
Great, spacious house on a beautiful property. Ample room for a large group. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a WONDERFUL staff -- friendly and catering to every need. Cap Cana offers many fun activities for all ages and the beach at the Beach Club is beautiful. We hope to return soon!
We had a terrific stay at Oasis Cap Cana. The place and the house are great and the personnel make it even better. Daniel, the cook, Miguel and Luz were excellent, and Alejandro, the manager, was very helpful and always available when we needed him. An excellent place to relax and enjoy the good life.
We had a fantastic stay at this villa, and all of our expectations were exceeded. The villa is beautiful, comfortable and relaxing which was just what we needed. Booking the villa through the owner Gary was very easy and convenient, and he provided us with good information along with several local people who looked after us during our stay; we could do as little or as much as we wanted. The villa is well appointed and was always kept clean by the housekeeper Luc, yet she was very unintrusive. She even did our laundry every day, which is a great perk. My family and I really enjoyed staying here, and will definitely return.
My family of seven was lucky enough to stay at Cap-cana oasis in June.
We were picked up at the airport by Alejandro where he helped us with our luggage (and with teenagers we had a lot of it) and then lead us to our home in paradise.Luz (the housekeeper) greeted us with piña coladas and fresh fruit.
The villa and grounds are absolutely beautiful and come stocked with all the amenities needed for a perfect holiday.
During our stay we were lucky enough to have Daniel as our chef. We were skeptical at the idea of having a chef and thought we would like to "eat out" - however after our first day we decided we wouldn't eat anywhere but the house. Our 16 year old daughter has celiac and cannot have gluten - Daniel was a lifesaver and made all of our meals gluten free!
Capcana Oasis is the perfect villa and we look forward to visiting again!
