This was our fist trip as a new couple and it could not have been better..... A small romantic cottage....Massages in our home......Romantic dinners.....Laying out on the porch each morning for breakfast.... it was everything we wanted and needed. Thank you for a trip we will always remember.
I have taught music for 20+ years and my wife works as a medical transcriptionist. We love Kauai, but our home is in Santa Cruz, California. I play music in a band called The Island Breeze Band. I also enjoy playing music with friends in Kauai when we are on Island. My wife enjoys quilting, good books, long drives to the Monterey Bay Area. We met at a New Year's Eve Party in 1983. We love the location and comfort of our little cottage by the sea, and hope to retire there one day.
Sunlight, surf, relaxing atmosphere, the sound and smell of the ocean, sounds of the birds, smell of the plumeria. We were just very lucky to find it. Originally, we went to the North Shore to find a place but got tired of the rain and mold. With only two days of our vacation left, we decided to come to Poipu to find some sun. After unpacking, we took a walk up Hoona Road and found our cottage, on one of the nicest streets on the island.
Watching the sunsets, playing ukulele with friends across from Beach House Restaurant, walking to PK's to surf, Lawai Beach to swim and snorkel, Ho 'ai bay swimming with the turtles, walking through or relaxing at Prince Kuhio Park, lounging around reading a good book on Baby Beach, long walks to the harbor in the morning, oatmeal with fresh papaya, mangos, watching amazing breathtaking sunset, eating fresh-cooked shrimp from the Mobile Shrimp Lady, eating dinner at Keoki's from their bar menu, walking to the Sheraton on a full moon night for dinner, star gazing at night.......it goes on and on!
